It was mentioned in one of the write-ups about last season that the Barney-Marshall friendship was developed because of Lily's absence. Wonder if any of that carries over in the next season.

Hmmm I see that in those episodes they were very BM heavy, but I think their friendship had been developed before that definitely. Especially when Marshall started working with Barney.

Hmm, thats actually interesting. I think they started becoming closer when Marshall started working with the Barnacle though, like Air said. But I can see that happening while Lily was gone as well because those episodes are VERY BM heavy.

Oh yes, they totally did. I'm just really hoping now that Lily is back we'll still get a lot of the friendship because they are just too amazing.

My mom and I made it to Mosbius Designs today. I love that one for BM! Barney talks to him about Robin AND they have a killed work storyline. So funny!

:nod: I think I took that to mean that it became a bigger storyline because of Lily's absense - obviously they knew they wouldn't have Aly for quite some time before Lily actually left so they were setting it up a bit all season.

Me too! I definitely hope they continue with that next season, it's nice when the friendships are more even and we get a bit of everyone!

This season was really good for getting some of everybody. Barney/Lily, Marshall/Barney, Robin/Marshall, Robin/Barney, Robin/Lily, Ted/Robin, we were really just missing some Ted/Lily and Ted/Barney but we'd had a lot of those in previous seasons. So I'm happy!
