It was SPOT on, he first did it at our table at the Meet'n Greet, I think might even have been after Tahmoh had been at our table, too. We were all really cracking up, because the voice, the gestures, it was just SO Tahmoh (I had met Tahmoh at a BSG con 1 1/2 year ago, so I had more than just his brief visit at our table to go on)

Both Fran and Enver did an Olivia impression, which was pretty funny. And Enver, of course, reprised his Topher/Fran impression more than a few times :P

aww, maybe you will meet them, too. Where are you from? They have Echo-2 happening next year and Sean said that if we manage to get twice as many tickets sold he can afford bringing the whole cast over (except Eliza).

*shrugs* People are different, some do conventions, some do signing events, some do neither and some do both. At least Eliza has done some signing events (met her at one of those in Birmingham six years ago), so that will always be a possibility.

I think it's pretty good for a show to have the whole cast except one be interested in/having time to attending conventions for the show.

I want to meet Amy and Alexis.

Well, Amy is announced for Echo-2, and with her level of dedication it will take something pretty big to keep her from coming. This is the woman who rearranged her honeymoon to fit a con, went to conventions across the atlantic far into both her pregnancies (one of the times I met her she was 6 months along with her second kid).

Alexis did one Angel con in 2003, dunno what else he's done, event-wise, but he did visit Aly when she did "When Harry Met Sally" in the West End in 2004 so some lucky fans met him when they went to meet her by the door (not the time I was there, sadly).

Please tell me how you get your information. She went to wonder con this year and I was two hours away. I didn't find out she was there until it was over.

Well Starfury conventions, which is the organizer I generally use I found out about through friends I had on a Buffy mailinglist I was part of, one of the members told the rest of us about her first convention experience and directed all of us to the site and many members booked for the following convention (which was the one Alexis went to), I booked the following year when I finally had the money and opportunity to travel to the UK. Through the same friends I found about the signing event that Eliza was going to be at, which coincided with the time I was going to be in the UK anyway, and through the same friends I was told about Aly's play, which also took place while I was in the UK.

Now that the mailinglist is no more, I get most of my information from the convention organizer's forum and from keeping personally in contact with various people I've met through conventions. I've also gone to a couple of Showmaster signing events (can't link you to Showmaster's site, since forum rules forbids me to link directly to another forum and their main site IS a forum and they only do event-specfic websites), I am not very good at keeping up to date with their events on the forum, but I have friends who are, also I follow them on twitter (I also follow Starfury on twitter).

Amy, Dichen, Miracle, Fran and Eliza are on twitter (Miracle even accidentally revealed who the bonus guest for Echo-1 was when she tweeted about hanging out with Dichen and Enver in London).
