 This is a favourite of mine.To find a movie with both Judi Dench and Kate Winslet is awesome. The fact that they're playing the same role at different stages of her life is so good. They both did an amazing job in this movie and I loved Jim Broadbent as well. He thoroughly deserved the Oscar that he received for his role in this movie. |

I think Judi Dench was just marvelous in this film. The way that she portraid a woman with alzheimer's was incredible. And the oscar nomination was really deserved.
My favourite scene has to be the one where young Iris (kate) stumbles and slides down the stairs on her back. And then she starts laughing, it was really funny. I would've been mortified, but the fact that she could laugh like that was fantastic. __________________

I really enjoyed watching this film. Especially because of Kate and Judi Dench. I just think that they're both marvelous actresses. Too bad they didn't have any scenes together. But they played the same character but different ages. And I must say, both Kate and Judi were just fatastic
