 Funny title.. Thnx for the thread ;)

Lets hope she gets a new project soon that could make some new additions to the list ;)

Elizabeth_88 04-07-2009 07:21 AM

yeh im really interested in what type of movies she's going to do next but i think she will prob hve a holiday for a while i cant believe how many premiers she been too this season

but i really think she should have won an oscar for eternal sunshine of the spotless mind im just in love with that character of clementine i think it was one of her strongest performances out of her oscar nomination

*PassionateJ* 04-07-2009 10:06 AM

Great idea for a thread Lizie :D

I really thought she should of won for Titanic but I think her GG win for RR was so well worth it as well. I need to see The Reader still im sure she was amazing in it!

Elizabeth_88 04-07-2009 10:18 AM

she really was amazing in the reader i can see why she got all the major awards this season she really can put on a variety of accents

and im glad she hasn't been typecast for Titanic as it was such a big movie

Jojo 04-08-2009 04:03 AM

Thanks for the thread!

In my opinion, she should have won the Oscars for Sense & Sensibility and Eternal Sunshine. And I'd much rather she won for Titanic than Helen Hunt for As Good As It Gets.

Love the title, I never noticed that before and wow she has won/bene nominated for a load of awards :thud:

MrღMrsStinsbatskys 04-08-2009 10:34 AM

She should have won for Titanic in every award show. I thought it was her best performance to date. Now The Reader was good but Revolutionary Road was good aswell. Still have yet to see both.

I totally agree  Kate's performance was much stronger in Titanc then Helen in As Good Asit Gets.

Jojo 04-10-2009 04:52 AM

Kate said she herself voted for Dame Judi Dench for Mrs. Brown. I still say she got robbed of that one. I mean, come on... Helen Hunt? Not that I have anything against her, but I don't think she deserved to win that year.

Elizabeth_88 04-16-2009 10:36 AM

yeh i think she deserved an oscar for Titanic although i havent seen as good as it gets-but after watching titanic last night she should have won-especially when she was in the sea with jack, when he died ect it was so powerful

this bit is amazing
