Pretty simple question. How and why did it happen? Were you a fan of Tina and Co. before the show started? Was it recommended to you? Did you read the review or were intrigued by all the awards it was winning?

Me, I didn't pay attention to it much. It was just another show I didn't watch. Actually, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip looked much better to me. But I didn't watch either. I read the reviews and it kept getting more buzz, so I became a little interested.

And then a really good friend of mine said he was really getting into the show. And we have similar tastes in TV shows. So I ended up buying the box set. And the rest is history.

I read an interview with Lauren Graham back in 2006 where she mentioned that 30 Rock was one of her favourite shows at the moment. That was the first time I heard about it although I knew Tina Fey from SNL. A friend of mine started to watch it and really liked it so when I visited her we decided to watch the first episodes of season 1. It took me some time to get into the show but when it finally clicked I fell in love and it hasn't stopped since. Today it's the only show where I can say there's no episode that sucks.

That's really cool. I didn't know LG was a fan, but then again, a lot of celebirties are.

I always enjoyed Tina Fey on SNL and later followed her to 30 Rock and enjoyed it.

I also have to admit that I gave this show a shot only cos I read that Lauren Graham likes it (year and half ago)It took me three eppies to fell in love with it and 5 more eppies till I started to understand what Tracy says.haha. It´s the only show Im watching right now. That says a lot. Love it.

Jazz, I always admired Tina Fey for becoming SNL's first female head writer, but I wasn't really familiar with her work.

I've always admired Tina as well, and the fact that she's just pretty much brilliant. I think I saw her first in Mean Girls or on SNL and a friend told me that 30 Rock was funny so I went out, bought the first season, watched it straight though and then made my friends watch it. And of course I've been hooked ever since

And it is awesome that LG loves the show! Just another reason for her to sign on as a guest

I liked Mean Girls a lot, but it still didn't prepare me for the awesomeness of 30 Rock.

I think I just caught an episode after The Office one night, and it was at first watch. We've been together ever since.

My co-worker told me about it. Well, she first told me about Dr. Spaceman! How they spelled it and so on. And I just thought, wtf is she talking about? Some days after that I gave her my external drive and she put me season 1 and season 2 on it. And I first started with 30 Rock and then became a fan

I gave the S1 box set to one of my friends for her birthday last year. She loved it so much that she went out and got the S2 box set, and is now a big fan.
