"Brooklyn Without Limits" (TV-14) Alec tries to sway the congressional election for the benefit of the network, while Liz finds the perfect pair of jeans. John Slattery guest stars |
:lmao: I'm a big John Slattery fan, from this stuff on Mad Men. Loved loved loved this episode.
 I love that those are the types of stores I shop in too. But she looked AWESOME in those jeans... if that was her, as they never showed her face at the same time. The show is already laying the base for Queen Latifah's return, so I'm happy. Tracy calling Jenna J-Train is funny. And him just learning about air quotes. And Jenna gets hard! :lmao: I loved his Samuel L Jackson outfit. "When the time is right, be bad at snapping. Got it." "If we have to have government, make it as small as possible: dwarves, small buildings, pizza bagels for lunch." Poor Kenneth, the human sushi platter. "Hi, do I know you from outside the bagel store?" And John Slattery in the ads! The baby costume and then the delivery room with the rifle. :lmao: "So you're putting one more nutjob, yeah, I said it, one more, I'm political." "You're being awful high and mighty for a woman who once claimed her husband drowned so she could get out of a gym contract" "And I live like a cowboy by buying quality, locally made jeans, also by eating beans out of a can, due to impatience." "We all make compromises. At least I'm doing it for the company, for our jobs. You're doing it for YOUR ASS." And Liz talking to the Che tshirt was AWESOME. I've seen so many of those tshirts. So many. "You were right about Brooklyn Without Limits, crunchy on the outside, right wing nutjob on the inside." "...like Anne Coulter's underwear." "Compromises are for lesser souls. Die werewolf zombie." "Lesbian Mario Brothers!" "Ooga Booga Big. Ooga Booga Strong. I'm gonna sing my Oooga Booga song." Cake boy!! Jack and Liz enjoying a bite after their morals get in the way of their grand schemes. :lmao: Great ep. Anyone else have thoughts? :look: |
Such a different side of John Slattery. :goof: I didn't know how to react or what to make of it.
 Perfectly understandable. Sometimes I still think of him as the guy who wanted to pee on Carrie in Sex and the City.
No, he was hilarious. Especially the couch fort. :rotfl:
I liked his ooga booga national anthem the best.
Ooh, I'm looking forward to this. I love John Slattery. :D
It's a gooder. :)
OK, I'm finally caught up on 30 Rock.
I, too, love that they're laying the groundwork for Queen Latifah's return. John Slattery was fantastic. I had to sit through this election season, and some of the stuff he said wasn't really all that strange. It was a nice send up of the Tea Party rhetoric. I loved that it was Jenna and Tracy who ended up doing the right thing at the end. And it was inspired by Werewolf Zombie. |
 I used that line as my Facebook status.
 That's a good idea.
"Lesbian Super Mario Brothers!" |
:lmao: I loved that line!! Those were seriously the most unflattering thing I have ever seen on anyone.
Yeah, I think they stuffed them with something...I don't know what. And Alec's delivery made it great.
 Probably pillows or something.
