Zachary's Theatre Appreciation

His Early Years
During high school, Zachary receives Gene Kelly Award a local high school theater prize, for his role as the Major General in his high school’s production of Pirates of Penzance.

He attended Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and graduated with a BFA in 1999.

March 5, 2008 - Zachary took part of The Alzheimer’s Association’s 16th Annual “A Night At Sardi’s” and sang A Lot of Livin To Do from Bye Bye Birdie musical along side Kristen Bell.

September 13, 2008 - Zachary went to the re-opening Of The Mark Taper Forum.

January 31, 2009 - Ojai Plawright Conference

October 25, 2009 - Zachary took part in the “The Laramie Project – 10 Years Later” celebrity reading which was a worldwide event.

January 30, 2010 - Zachary did Hearts on Fire for Ojai Playwright's Conference.

April 19, 2010 - WET's LOVE Benefit (Participated in 2 play readings)

May 5, 2010 - Columbia University Film Festival Faculty "Bright Side" Reading

How is it that Heroes star Zachary Quinto (he plays Sylar) ended up in the audience Saturday night at the Bill and Margot Winspear Opera House? The Broadway Gala with Kristin Chenoweth and Patti LuPone was the closing event of a four-night feast of entertainment to celebrate the opening of the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

The opening galas were billed as Act III and they were chaired by Jeanne Marie Clossey. Her daughter, Sarah Clossey, just happens to be friends with Zach (who also played Spock in the new Star Trek movie) and they flew in from LA to attend. "

i feel like closer to Zach

im taking this acting process class.. and learning about different theories and styles that go about for a theatre actor.. i can really see the difference from an actor who does theatre and does film than an actor who just goes straight into film

me too.. i really want to see teh laramie project 10 years later reading.. i didnt know it was a worldwide event until during class it was mentioned hehe.. i saw the laramie project last year.. my uni did it.. it was such an amazing

its a fun class but i dread going to it every morning i have it

its a 2 hour class from 10-12

only two times a week though monday and wednesday but i dont always look forward to it

i wonder what theatre related stuff Zach will be dong or going to next

besides the ones in the op

so i finally read samuel beckett's endgame cuz i remembered zach was in it..

its an interesting play and i can see why zach wanted to do it

lots of Sylar related stuff does happen in the play haha..

he is still doing some .. no upcoming ones that we know of yet..

but he is always doing something theatre like

so uh i guess Beckett's plays are usually performed like that.. i watched some other clips

i read waiting for godot in my class.. and endgame was mentioned by my prof and i was like oo yea zach was in it.. i should read it..so i borrowed it today and finished it
