I think it will be strange, too! Like Jim will do fantastic, no doubt. Just seeing so many interviews with both Jim and with Ausiello, it's going to be hard for my brain to conceptualize this.

I was really surprised that he has this big role. When I read about the movie, I thought he only would direct or produce.

I rarely watch Young Sheldon but I caught a recent episode that answered a burning question about Sheldon.
Young Sheldon and his father are talking and the father says something like "One day when you have children, they're going to think you're crazy." But then he expresses doubt that Sheldon will ever have children. The voice-over of adult Sheldon (Jim Parson's voice) then says that he DID have children and they DID think he's crazy. Nice to have confirmation that Sheldon reproduced.  __________________

Was it a rerun? Because I know we learned a while ago that they have at least one kid, and that one of them is named Leonard. (I don't watch Young Sheldon either, I just remember people talking about it.)

No, it was this last week's new episode. Of course, it's perfectly possible that they said something about it before this, but since I don't watch the show often, I hadn't heard of it before.
He definitely said "KIDS" - so it's more than just one. __________________

Yeah we definitely knew that! He's mentioned kids in previous voiceovers, though I can't remember if that was discussed in a Jim thread or Shamy thread. We don't know any names (to my knowledge) other than that one is Leonard (which I know was mentioned in the S4 premiere, though I don't remember what season they're on so I don't remember how long ago that was, but I feel like it was a couple years.)

Given the short attention spans people have and networks and streaming services always wanting to have something shiny and new out, three seasons isn't anything to sneeze at, so good on Jim and Mayim and the rest of them.
