Yeah, I think it was realistic, based on the (lack of) interactions we've seen between them. I enjoy watching Mayim and Simon together. Both so funny and there's clearly a lot of mutual respect and admiration there. They can get a lot of comedy out of awkwardness like that.

I would have prefered a little more friendliness, but the realistic awkwardness only convinces me they need to give hanging out another shot. It's been long enough.

Since we got a Sheldon/Bernadette plot this season and the writers have basically acknowledged that it's been a long time since Howard and Amy have hung out, I think/hope we might have a proper H/A storyline someday

Yeah, given that we haven't seen signs of them hanging out since Scavenger Vortex, the awkwardness we saw was realistic. But yeah, it still made me kind of sad cause I loved when they bonded, so I'd like to see more of them getting along together again.
