I know I said Sheldon and Penny reminded me of brother and sister, and now it's freaking canon! Howard saved the episode for me. In fact this has to be Simon's Emmy season.

This episode was the sweetest thing ever! Sheldon and Penny were just adorable, and it really just highlighted everything that's beautiful about their relationship. I think we knew these things in terms of how they felt about each other more than they themselves did consciously, so it was really sweet to have them fully realize and discuss it.

The zombie storyline was interesting; I'd be scared out of my mind to be in a place like that, but IT HAD THE RETURN OF BETHANY (no one will convince me that Molly Morgan wasn't playing Bethany again), and it was fun seeing the gang just own at the puzzles.

More sadness from Howard and Bernadette, but, amidst it, it was nice to see Howard really openly appreciating his mother. Bernie's line at the end killed me, "Oh no, that thing's gonna end up in my bedroom."

I had already posted in the Sheldon/Penny thread, but I thought the end scene between them was very sweet. They sweet words they said to each other were very touching.

I think Simon was on fire, he was so funny when freaking out, and so touching when talking about driving his mom.

dDid anyone else catch the mention of "Dr DAvid Salzberg"?? The physics consultant that the show uses?? It was in the brief intro that Goth Girl gave to Leonard, Amy, Raj, and EMily before entering the zombie lab?

I screamed it at the TV and my parents looked very afraid of me until I explained.

I liked the zombie: "NO REFUND IF FINISH EARLY!"

Of course. Good episode tonight. I liked the balance of comedy and a lil bit of drama. I agree I think Simon should get a nod this year. But we've said that before with no success. I wonder why he cant get a nod? He really is a good actor.

Really? Whenever I talk with someone about TBBT, the first thing I hear is "Bazinga" or "Sheldon". So, I would say it's pretty clear why he can't "get a nod".

Jim goes in lead actor categories. Simon would go as supporting. Plus, Modern Family actors are in the same category as each other all the time, it's not like you can only have one per show.

Yup! I remember one year MF took almost all the slots but one. Other shows have done that too. TWW (2001) took all slots in their category.

Yep. Now if he was in the same category as Jim, he'd more than likely lose because the academy loves Jim. But Jim isn't preventing him from getting nominated.

Finally seen the episode after my Internet connection gave out while I was streaming it - got to the point with Leonard and Amy in the car with Raj and Emily, then had to go to bed extremely angry for a few hours, waiting to see what happened next.

I liked the episode overall. Sweet stuff between Sheldon and Penny. My favourite part was Sheldon talking about how he genuinely doesn't always understand what people are thinking. The whole thinking of each other as brother/sister/mother felt like the show just confirming what we've known for ages.
I enjoyed the "Okay baby, let's do this" line.

I loved Howard and Bernadette's scenes, especially Howard's emotional parts. LOVED Bernie sorting out the airport employee - it really is fantastic to have Bernadette in your corner.

Sweet episode.
The zombie part was OK, it had some funny moments but I felt like Amy at the end "Thats it?" However, I loved Emilys question to Leonard "Are you being polite or scared"?

Howards confession that he felt guilty that he didn't drove his mother to the airport was heartbreaking. I loved how Bernie supported him. OK, the poor airport employee payed for it but she did it for Howard

And how sweet were those scenes with Sheldon and Penny. It was touching and funny at the same time. Loved it

It was a good episode.

The biggest kudos are for Simon Helberg. He was incredible in that episode! That scene with Howard talking to his mothers urne was so touching Simon Helberg is so underrated. I would nominate him for an Emmy right away! He deserves it he´s a great actor!

And I loved Bernadette yelling at the lady at the airport! Melissas delievery was just perfect!

I have to say that the Howardette storyline was my favourite in that episode.

And the Penny/Sheldon scenes were nice. They finally proved that they´re like siblings and thats a good thing. I had no idea that Sheldons birthday is in Feburary. (yay I share a star sign with Sheldon his birthday is only two days after mine *yay*) And I loved the moment where Sheldon told Penny about his wish that he wants to read peoles´s mind if he could. (Join the club Sheldon I`m also not very good at socializing with people) And I loved the scene where they all yelled suprise at Sheldon. Loved it that Penny told the others when Sheldons birthday is.

The zombie story was a little bit funny but too short.
