One of the first forums I ever joined was for the X-Files, and I wound up being the admin for it in it's declining years after the show went off. My best friend is actually someone I met through that group. I think I may have mentioned it before, but a bunch of folks from that original group recently started a Facebook reunion group, so we've all been getting reacquainted with those members we lost touch with. There is so much excitement in the group right now. We're already talking about maybe arranging a meetup somewhere to watch the first episode together.

btw., we had a re-run yesterday here of "Triangle". Great episode with a sweet ending :)


I was a member of Idealist Haeven (I think it was this webside, I'm not sure anymore) during the last seasons but I can't remember my nickname anymore.
I remember, that I went to that forum every sunday morning because someone was watching the feed and told people about what would happen in the next episode. I think that was the time when I became spoiler addicted :lol:

And I think it was because of this board that I was encouraged to go to London and watch Gillians play (what the Night is for) after the Show has ended.

What's up with X-Files?

they are shooting 6 new episodes during this summer - with Anderson and Duchovny

They're bringing it back! They're going to make a 6 episode mini-series. :D There has been talk for several months, but today it was confirmed.

I got so excited when I saw the announcement I went running around my office telling everyone. The fun thing about that is I found out there are a lot more fellow fans among my co-workers than I thought!

They already knew I can be a pretty focused fangirl about my shows. :D

Gillian and David are excited too :D

I've still yet to see any X-Files episodes, but it's been on my list of things to check out eventually! Maybe I'll have to bump it up with this announcement!

And I finally should start with the re-watch of that series box I bought last december :D

I've never seen an episode of it either actually. It seems too emotionally draining for me these days. :lol:

In comparisons to your other ships it's a walk in the park. :lol: Nobody of the main characters dies (only temporary :blush: ) and they will be together in the end. And if you watch it within 9 weeks and not 9 years, it won't be emotionally draining so much :D

Okay but you follow me on Twitter you know I am extremely emotionally unstable right now. :lol:

Maybe this summer I'll watch it - I won't have classes after all! :hippie:
