Big Bang Theory Goodbyes

As various cast and crew members continue to post their goodbyes to Big Bang Theory, and their memories, this will be a place moving forward where we can post all of them. Feel free to keep posting them into their other respective threads, as we have been doing, but this way we can also view them in one place!

(Thanks to Laurence for the suggestion!)

However - be careful when regarding potential spoilers! Anything regarding an upcoming episode should still only be in the limited spoilers thread, until the episode has aired.

And if anyone has a better idea for what to call this thread - let me hear it!

What about fans saying goodbye to the show? Is this the appropriate place too?

The work of @bigbangtheory_cbs Wardrobe Designer Mary T. Quigley can not possibly be overestimated. The looks she created for each of our characters have become immediately recognizable and iconic, gave each of us actors our skin for over 12 years and will find a new home at The Smithsonian Museum once we wrap. The very first wardrobe designer in television history to be given producer credit and for good reason. On a personal note, I would be a much lesser person if I wasn’t so fortunate to have her in my life since the age of 16. We love you, Mary. #emptyqueue Also pictured, featured day-player @kaleycuoco

I just looked up what The Smithosonian Museum is, seems it's a really big thing that the TBBT wardrobe is going there  Mary Quigley
And congrats for being the first producer-wardrobe designer :D

It's awesome that some of the Big Bang costumes are heading to the Smithsonian! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the main set will end up on display somewhere.

Sure, that can go here too!

John Ross Bowie recently posted a beautiful goodbye too (we already had it in his thread, but it belongs in here too)

11 years ago - I had just been let go by my agent, and had just signed with a much smaller agency. The first audition they sent me out on was for Kripke. I went in there with a chip on my shoulder and a ton to prove. Much like Barry himself.
I started work the next day, and at the end of the first day everybody hugged me, except Johnny. Johnny didn’t hug me until the next morning.
11 years. My hair was darker then, and a few years ago we started coloring it so I wouldn’t look like Gandalf when I stood next to Kunal.
The show opened up doors, shifted my career and cemented friendships. I have been stopped on the street by fans of the program on 3 continents. Working on Big Bang I’ve met Mark Hamill, Stephen Root, Christine Baranski, Sean Astin, Adam West, Levar Burton and in July @itswilwheaton and I are gonna go see the Damned together.
The show will likely lead my obituary and I couldn’t be happier about that.
Thanks to @therealjimparsons, @sanctionedjohnnygalecki, @kaleycuoco, #simonhelberg, @kunalkarmanayyar, @missmayim and @themelissarauch for always making me feel like family.
Have a great last show, guys.

@sanctionedjohnnygalecki nor should you be. I didn’t mind working for it. YOU’RE WORTH IT.

Hmm...From the way Johnny worded his reply "I don’t just give out hugs on the first day. I’m not that kinda boy", it actually makes it seem like he gives MORE than just hugs

bigbangtheory_cbs We are all in tears just thinking about the series finale of #BigBangTheory on Thursday, May 16 at 8/7c — but a new behind-the-scenes special at 9:30/8:30c that same night might be SOME comfort 😭😭😭😭

I don't know, it's very common for women to use "I'm not that kind of girl" to say they withhold physical affection so it translates over that way to me.

I'm glad we'll have that to look forward to! Though it's too bad they've still got Young Sheldon between the two - would have been nice to go directly from the finale to the special.

I'm hoping that will be able to watch somewhere since I might be out that night. :/
