I'm loving this episode a lot - there's Sheldon with the non-optional tea again!

EDIT: Okay, I like Priya more in this one. Granted, it wasn't a serious plot for them, talking about something and actually doing it are two different things, but I definitely liked her here. Although it's odd that all of a sudden they're all "INDIA TRIP!"

Okay, the Bestie stuff was great, the Girls were great, (Amy called them "the group"!) and the two couples had epic stuff! Oh wow, this ep made me really happy.

And my mom-my MOM-was cracking up! WOW! Haha

I never though I would say this but...
IMO, Sheldon was weird tonight.
I mean, when he was talking to Raj about playing the 3-chess boards game alone etc. I've seen "weird Sheldon" before but that line was so stupid it felt like someone as intelligent as he is wouldn't say that.

But I liked the episode.

I loved tonight's episode! Bernadette and Amy especially had some great lines - they were probably my favorite parts.

Sheldon's chess game was also awesome. I loved that Leonard was genuinely impressed by his additions, and then seeing the guys play it at the end was great - it felt like something from season 1 or 2. And I know I was just praising the girls, but I still wish we got to see more of all the guys together again.

Didn't care much for Raj's storyline, though, to be honest.

I just caught it on DVR no way was I going to miss TVD live tonight (holy crap) but I watched tBBT on dvr and I agree with your post , I swear sometimes I feel like you get into my head

I really loved also at the beginning, Leonard was genuinely interested in the game I miss those Leonard/sheldon moments. and the end with them playing the game was awesome!!! swear Roxanne I said the same thing when I saw it, "now this is like the old days"
I got a kick out of the Bernadette spying stuff she was so funny, and the way Leonard got befuddled that Penny wouldn't have told him about her movie and his obvious;y being bothered that Penny was dating an astronaut lol, and I can totally understand why Priya got mad, he totally sounded like he and Penny still see each other and talk, I couldn't blame her for getting mad that he disobeyed her "No Penny rule" and I don't blame her for getting mad that her BF was jealous of his old GF's new BF.


I didn't really care for Raj's story either, but he played he hell out of it, just wasn't funny

I personally think I still like Raj's speech quirk, I find it is funnier when he can't speak to women now than when he is drunk or takes drugs for it.

I’m indifferent to this episode, don’t hate it… definitely don’t love it. Liked the chess game and seeing the boys together at the end. Too much girls in my opinion.

I think I liked more the past episode. But this one had moments that had me in stitches. Especially when Sheldon was explaining Leonard about the serpent's function "That piece is considered poisoned, and will die after two moves *click* *click" Uuuuh" xDDD

It was super awesome seeing Leonard interested in three person chess. That's the Leonard I remember and adore, it was so sweet. And Sheldon saying "Your mind has lost its keen edge" seems to make an allusion that he in fact, thinks Leonard is one if his friends geniuses with their friend Howard.

The girls had some funny, funny lines this episode. I kinda feel bad for Priya, it almost like three girls against one. I don't know what to think about Priya being upset with Leonard, but she didn't seem like she was going to murder him and he did kind of make it a storm in a glass (which makes her look bad).

I didn't care much about Raj's storyline. Or more like I was disappointed in it, it has been such a prominent gag in the sitcom and people is waiting for it to be dealt with (in whichever way) and they didn't make it justice, the saving point was that at first he really was charming and the girl really seemed interested, this could have gone somewhere because I felt there was potential until it went too far. I'm hoping they will pick up this again and deal with it in another manner (he deserves it)

Sweet for Sheldon to say "I'm glad you said I'm a good friend, because that's what I try to emulate" It sounded honest and nice. Too bad he is a little bit to ignorant for other people to see beyond him being an ass

ETA: I just remembered Amy saying "puta". I knew she was by reading the taping report, but it still surprised the hell out of me. That's a really really bad word in Spanish. I pretty much know everyone knows what it means, but the connotation is really heavy. Like there are TV approved cuss words in family TV and maybe for adults, but in Spanish you wouldn't be hearing it unless it was an underground indie art film denoting the harsh lives of well...putas O.o

Whore seems like a good word in comparison (considering).

Just watched the episode a third time. Did anyone else notice that Leonard's glasses constantly change throughout the episode? I was kinda fixed on the fact that Leonard was wearing his season 1 glasses, then I noticed it was changing back and forth. I first realized it during the dinner scene...sometimes they actually changed from one shot to the next.

But anyway, I loved this episode. I think Bernadette was my favorite in this episode, she was hilarious.

Totally agree! I loved that scene so much. The guys' dynamic is always my favorite. And I was far too amused at Leonard's "release the swarm" gesture.

That's so weird about his glasses! I honestly didn't notice during the episode, but now that I knew to look for it, I could tell rewatching the dinner scene.
