Am I the only one here who hasn't seen, or has no desire to see the Star Wars movies? :lol:

We've seen most of the Star Wars movies - the last few were awful. Hubby has no desire to go see this new one; I put it on the Netflix list, but am not in any hurry to see it.

Then again FearlessLeader has gone to see it 3 times already (she's rather fond of Harrison Ford, I think). ;)

I just read a bit about the 7 ft tall basketball player from Finland who got tapped to play inside the (big furry) Chewbacca costume, because the 7 ft 2 British fellow Peter Mayhew who plays him is quite elderly at this point, so they needed somebody younger who was that tall with blue eyes (and also is blond and gorgeous - ahem) to do the more active Chewbacca scenes.

My hubby and I are going to binge watch the movies cause I don't think I've seen any of them from the beginning, just bits and pieces.

I'm not a huge fan either, but I'd like to know what all the fuss is about. :lol:

Ekua I have no interest :look: Not saying that to be a hipster, I just truly don't have an interest! I've seen the old ones though!

Oh good :lol: I've never had any inclination to watch Star Wars or anything even remotely related :lol:

I am looking forward to the new Leonardo DiCaprio movie though. :D Looks pretty interesting!

Leos movie shockingly ( to the point of over the top) real....of course you want to see it.

Be prepared for some crazy gore ...I saw the promos at the theater and it isn't for the feint of heart. I might watch it on TV eventually cause it does look interesting.

:lol: I know! Although if Jason was in Star Wars i'd watch it ;)

Could you imagine? :eek: Instant fame for him!! I think he needs to do a big blockbuster just to get himself back out there!! Then he can be picky and do the indie stuff he seems to favour!

Oh man I totally want to the reverant too! That bear scene is just insane looking. And I hope leo wins an award!

He just won The Golden Globe so it's looking good. I think he deserves an Oscar! Most of his previous work has been excellent.

ok i thought he never won an award, but it said he won golden globes like three times...is it the oscar he has never won?

Also i was soooo happy for him!! Same with Sylvester Stallone, I cried when he finally won for his role as Rocky! :bawl:

Yeah I think it's just the Oscar he hasn't won!! Hopefully this time. :D
