I have not started watching my cheesy Christmas movies yet this season (I wait until after thanksgiving), but I did see Midway at the movies with my dad yesterday. I’m not a war movie fan, but I did like watching the incredible dimples on the actor, Ed Skrein, who plays the main character.

I googled him after the movie and he was in Game of Thrones for a few episodes.
Midway is about a key battle in the Pacific during WW2. |

I haven't started watching, but I want to watch the new one with the game of thrones girl and the guy from the rich asians. It looks really cute! __________________

I watched Holiday in the Wild with Kristen Davis from Sex and the City. As bad as I expected but entertaining! __________________

We started and finished first season of Barry.
It has the guy from SNL in it, Bill Hader. He is funny, but this role is so different for him, it's refreshing. __________________

I watched the first season of The Crown. It was ok. I wanted to see how Elizabeth dealt in the beginning with her role as Queen compared to her role as wife. I like stuff about the British royalty, but I think a lot of the story lines were embellished for drama. Still have to see the second season. Third season just came out and they changed the cast to age everyone. I’m not so interested in the more recent stuff so I may not continue to watch it. I was really only interested in those first few years when she was Queen.
I did get the opportunity to see the costumes on tour. So awesome how the show recreated a lot of the historical costumes for the cast. Tall John Lithgow playing a very short Churchill....kind of neat. |

Thank you JJ! Maybe I’ll try it and see....I’m not really a fan of period dramas though, maybe not the best start! Haha!!!

It’s not too period-like since it is the 20th century! It is neat to see a woman become Queen who ends up being more important than her husband who will remain a Prince. I didn’t know Prince Phillip always walks slightly behind her, not next to her and never in front of her ever.

I enjoyed The Crown.....and as I said on another thread I am not liking the new actress ( not don't like her of course) I just really liked the first one. She had such a more subtle was of expressing the Queens emotions plus this new ones over bite and lisp for some dumb reason is bugging me. I'm liking it though I just so wished they had just aged the other actors.
OH and I watched two eppies of some weird Paul Rudd Netflix show where he is cloned and has to deal with his cloned self. I was sick of it after two eppies but is anyone has seen it and it got better let me know. __________________
