Here is the description of what kinds of events were sponsored at last year's event, Lotty. It seems like a typical neighborhood carnival with games, booths, entertainment, and food. I think that Jason manned a booth one year with Seth Green where people threw balls to knock over something? I'm pretty sure he has attended this event for a number of years.

TARGET A Time For Heroes 2003 On Sunday, June 8, 2003 more than 170 celebrity "heroes" from the worlds of film, television, fashion, music and extreme sports came together in Los Angeles at the Target A Time for Heroes celebrity carnival and picnic benefiting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. This year's event raised more than $1.5 million! This is the third year that the carnival and picnic was 100% underwritten by TARGET, ensuring that every dollar raised directly funds the Foundation's programs to provide a healthier future for children worldwide. Paula Abdul, Tim Allen, Jack Black, Carmen Electra, Dave Navarro, Seth Green, Tom Hanks, Geri Halliwell, Dustin Hoffman, Cheryl Hines, Cris Judd, Chris O'Donnell, Julia Ormond, Andy Richter, Chris Rock, The Rock, Leelee Sobieski, cast members from Boomtown, Scrubs and Survivor including host Jeff Probst, were just some of the "heroes" who volunteered their time to man carnival-style game booths such as Human Bowling, Whack a Gator, Target Race Car, The Survivor Hut, Giant Twister, Ping Pong Pop, Rubber Ducky Dash, Kings' Slap Shot Hockey, the La-Z-Boy Relaxation Tent, Nike Tent, and more all to raise funds for pediatric research, training, advocacy and outreach. In the Target Extreme Games area some of the hottest extreme sports athletes in the country including Mat Hoffman, Kevin Robinson, Shaun White and special guests, the legendary Tony Hawk and Olympian Scott Hamilton, showed-off their skills on a specially-built half pipe. Over in the Survivor Challenge Hut, Survivors, including million dollar winners Jenna Morasca, Tina Wesson and Ethan Zohn taught carnival goers how to Out Wit, Out Play, and Out Last each other in authentic Survivor Reward and Immunity Challenge Games from the hit CBS show. The Rock and the casts of NBC's Boomtown and Scrubs tested their athletic ability at the Nike Booth, while guests mingled with Strawberry Shortcake and Friends, and the Power Rangers Ninja Storm. Spa treatments, palm readings and more were available in the La-Z-Boy Spa area, where visitors lounged in special chairs designed by the cast of Friends. In addition to fun and games, guests were treated to an array of culinary treats by some of LA's finest restaurants. The day-long event was topped with performances by American Idol's Kimberly Locke and special musical guest Aaron Carter.

Probably cool to Jason to go and rub elbows with all these various famous folks too at this thing - and all for a good cause. EGPAF is one of his charities he goes out and supports.
