I'm tired and fighting off a cold and have to leave in a few minutes to go to Liz till Sunday to help while Hubbie is in CA for work plus I have to watch all 3 all day and night Saturday while they go to NYC for a party....I am going to be really beat by Sunday

Thanks aubie my Dad seems pretty happy at his new place and it helps a lot that he picked it out/it was his decision, so he'll work harder to make a go of it, make friends there, etc, I think. He's much happier now that he has a telephone again!

I think this time of year makes everyone very tired, plus changing the clocks

We used to carve pumpkins with the kids, wash and salt and roast the pumpkin seeds to eat for a snack, and then I'd cook up the pumpkin after and make pumpkin recipes - gawd I was ambitious/had energy back then! LOL! Then I got a plastic already carved pumpkin and saved myself a lot of mess and trouble. They are also really gross when they go moldy and get soft after Halloween - ugh.

Changing the clocks gives you an extra hour though.... I loved it!

Yay for weekend....not so much yay for so much work I can't even go out....

Never ever..... definitely not paid enough for the hours I put in!! And the things I buy for the classroom/kids. I know I shouldn't....but I want them to have it....

Well I got sicker had to where a mask a lot of the time especially when dealing with holding etc Grace ( although I think there is a chance I caught her cold...hopefully) Home now recovering. It is so busy with a wee one that age..they never stop moving good thing that is the cutest age of all...must have been designed that way

Fortunately mom and dad decided to come home last night...( concerned Grace would wake up in the middle of the night and freak out without mommy) around 1:30 and I found out this morning that Grace did wake up at 4. Poor mommy but she can get her right back down. Glad I was asleep in the basement bedroom!

Podad came and stayed all day Saturday and made it fun for the kids....he brings the man fun.....goofing around and doing physical stuff I don't do . We always play hide and seek when he comes...the big kids still love it and Grace really got into it this time....so cute "listening" to her talk while "being quiet"...me and her hide together. He drove home late cause he likes his own bed.

So I am resting and hoping this cold ( now bad cough) doesn't last too long

Ekua Sorry you are so busy you can't go out I hope and think a lot of that stuff you are buying will work in the years to come. Do you guys get a week or so off for Christmas? This is just a tough year all around. I can relate Hang in there things will get easier

Seriously, what do you guys eat when you're sick? I always feel like we're eating out when we get sick cause we're just too lazy to make food. And soup every meal is not that fun.
