The other coach was a son of a biscuit. ZSeriously. He was so harsh on Tim, and even Jason. I'm glad Eric was back to the Panthers.

I love that "Thank you" scene between them. Eric didn't hesitate to go and thank Tim the moment he knew what he did for Julie.

Have you watched the deleted scenes between Eric/Tim from s2 that Nic uploaded?

cute picture :sigh:

I loved this scene too  Tim had the sweetest smile on his face at the end of it when Coach told him that he had done an 'honorable' thing :sigh:

I need to watch this ep again

Poupa 09-04-2009 03:41 AM

^He did, and sadly on the other side of the office he was doing something not honorable *shakes head*

Nichole33 09-04-2009 06:34 PM

*tisk, tisk* Tim and Billy stealing money from a meth addict...definitely not honorable :)

one of my fav Tim/Eric scene :sigh:

Poupa 09-05-2009 04:42 AM

Not honorable at all. It's timing was intersecting with an honorable thing Tim did the previous day. Oh you Riggins, and the crazy things you do

One of my fave scenes as well. It was an early scene of the two of them, and back then we haven't seen much of the relationship between them, but you could tell that Eric did care enough about Tim to talk to him about Jason's accident, and how Tim was blaming himself for it. The fact that Tim didn't skip the conversation or avoided it with Eric, but instead, listened him and even cried was another proof that Eric was someone Tim could somehow trust to at least open up that much to him.

Which always makes me curious to something..Eric/Jason knew eachother before S1, right? Tim/Jason were best friends since they were young, are we to assume that Eric/Tim also knew eachother somehow back then?

I don't know, Eric start working with panters in s1, but I always thought that he work only with Jason before , I don't know why, I have to watch pilot again, there was this all Eric/Jason working together stuf

I need to rewatch their scenes too to make sure. I'm pretty sure that Eric/Jason knew eachother before S1, and that Eric coached him when he was younger.

Another scene where Eric is relying on Tim to keep the team together. Despite being known as reckless, Eric believes in Tim.

Eric believes in Tim.
he did  like in that scene in season 3 when he asked Tim to take care of Jd

Poupa 09-16-2009 04:28 AM

Yeah, and in S3, it's totally understandable since they've been working together for a while, and Eric knew more of Tim, but in early season 1, it was still at the begining, yet you would think that Eric knows a lot about him and what he is going through, even though they never had deep conversations, like Eric/Jason, for instance.

great shot of them two!
