I would love for him to just pop on and even tease what he might have coming up. We know we'll probably see him in June for Terminal List promo, but what about other projects?
I think the only other thing we know he has on the schedule right now is the ACChoir virtual appearance in April. |
His mom posted an ACChoir picture, randomly the other day. No caption. I assume that's what it was.
|
I would like to know if he has other projects in the works. Maybe he'll film something this summer or fall.

I completely forgot about the ACC choir thing too. You would think that with as quiet as he’s been that he is at least reading scripts but who knows with him. The longer we go without any new projects being announced the antsier I get.
|
I know he's still passionate about acting and its his job, but I do have that tiny fear he just wants to be off the grid photographing wildlife.
|
Me too but my hope is that at some point he thinks “hey I better get back to work” and just picks something.

If that’s the case, which it probably is, then nothing must be catching his eye right now. Someone please give this man something he can sink his teeth into!!! Certainly some of the scripts he must’ve read have a character that dies😂.

I wanna know who pre-reads scripts for him? I volunteer as tribute. |
Kinds makes you wonder if that’s a prerequisite of his before reading a script. Must be dark, gloomy and his character dies. I think he reads them but probably has his agent screen them according to his interest. I still want to know what popular movies he’s turned down.

I’d like to know the thought process behind everyone dies. Is it more dramatic? More impactful? Guarantees no part two or second season? There are great characters who live! |
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he tends to pick the same roles/characters. We know he prefers to pick real life people to imitate and maybe it’s just easier to get inside their heads and bring them back to life. He does that very well BUT he also isn’t taking chances with the exception of being the lead in The Defeated/Waco which again was hampered by incredibly poor marketing. It feels like when he does take a chance and puts himself out there that something goes wrong and he reverts back to roles that feel the most comfortable. Creatively, he just doesn’t seem all that interested in branching out even though he says differently. There is plenty of great content & characters out there but he just doesn’t seem to be interested or at least it appears that way. Personally, I think playing the same type of character or choosing the same genre can be boring and would cause you to lose your creativity as an actor.

He posted a happy birthday message to Pete today. That was nice to see!
I was so disappointed in Paramount with the release of Waco. I felt if he ever deserved a nomination for something, that was it. He became David. He was so good. I don’t mind the roles of real people. I think he likes a “character” he can get deep into the backstory of. I truly believe he picks stuff for the story and has zero cares if it’s popular. I feel like he almost hopes it won’t be big. Like he wants to tell the story, but to an intimate audience. |

Yes to all of that. He is certainly not picking roles for the fame and fortune. I think he likes to dissect and reassemble the character and could care less about how big of an audience it reaches. Waco was another PR mess and releasing it on Netflix during the pandemic proved that. Again, he was robbed of promoting a good role by circumstances beyond his control. The birthday message to Pete was very sweet. I didn’t notice the volume control on his picture until people were pointing it out in his comments and my guess is he didn’t either. Regardless, it was the thought that counts and you can tell that he has a very special relationship with Pete to post something like that. |

There wasn’t any sound, just a picture. It looked liked he took a screen shot on his phone after adjusting his volume which was caught on the screenshot. He probably didn’t notice it before posting the pic. Of course, others did and were bringing it to his attention in the comments.

So Taylor to a) not notice and b) probably notice and not care about the screen shot of the picture with the volume on the side.
It's nice that he got to work with Pete again, and I think he's really excited for 'Painkiller' he's really not done a tribute to Pete before, even though they've been friends for so so long. |
I think it’s a case of 50/50 with him not knowing or knowing but not caring.
The only other tribute I remember him writing was for Chadwick so it did feel really sincere and heartfelt. I never checked to see if Pete responded to it, do we know if he did? |
Pete hasn't been super active on social media as of late. He didn't even like it.
I'm sure he reached out to Taylor privately as I'm sure Taylor reached out to him. |
Pete has been MIA lately on SM except for a few random posts here and there. The IG story of him chasing zebra on his bike for his birthday was random and weird. I’m sure Taylor thought it was hilarious though.
|
I assume he's busy editing 'Painkiller'.
Taylor, who knows...usually he shares when he's off hunting wolves to photograph. |
His stories look like he’s traveling, maybe somewhere in South America? I don’t know how long it takes to edit but I would think it’s done or close to being done.
|
Yeah I have no idea how long it would take to edit six episodes. He's probably done or close to being done. I know he has some other stuff going on too, like he did some Superbowl commercials.
