My favorite Betty White memory is from Community. I love that show and her on it.
It's laugh out loud funny. There's a marathon on now. I will have it on all day.

I hope the fire is under control and you are all safe. Natural disasters are so scary.

I'm feeling much better but still not 100%. I haven't decided if I will go in to work on Monday or not. A lot of districts are closing. It's going to be a **** show.

I watched the documentary Mr. Saturday Night last night. It was okay. Watched a few episodes of Vampire Diaries and then Will and Grace while I played on my phone. Happy New Year to me!

Most of the schools around here are starting back after break remotely for a few weeks. Our state is just getting over a long Delta wave in the rural areas and now the area I'm in, metro-Detroit, all three counties are getting rocked by Omicron. Our building might be closed down for a few weeks too.

I didn't feel great last night, woke up with allergy symptoms and a weird stomach thing that's been bothering me all day. My teeth hurt from a sinus headache.

I'm going to have to go out and shovel snow and I hate it. I will probably have to do my neighbors too because they're out of the country and I don't think they have anyone set up to shovel snow.

Our school district announced that we’re going back in person next week but may need to switch remotely per grade or school depending if there are staff shortages or major outbreaks. I hope this doesn’t happen but the reality is that this month is going to be rough until the variant subsides.

Golden Girls is a classic & Rose Nyland was hysterical. I watched the show when I was in high school so that’s how old I am

I just found out today that our former assistant principal at my daughters elementary school lost his house, cars and cats in the fire. Somebody shared his Go Fund Me page & it looks like our district and community is turning out in a big way to help them get back on their feet. That’s the only silver lining of this that I’ve found for today.

We got a few inches of snow yesterday & then the temps dropped like a rock. The high today was 14 and the low for the eastern plains tonight is going to be -25. Needless to say, I didn’t go anywhere today.

I started watching Yellowstone last night & it’s SO good. I’ve been binging all day because it’s just one of those shows that you want to keep watching. Great characters & writing and Kevin Costner is just HOT. Showing my age again but that man gets better the older he gets.

Is Yellowstone on Paramount Plus or just the Paramount channel?

I was going to get rid of Hulu and Disney+, but somehow my nephew wrangled me into getting both within the bundle which adds Espn+. Still debating getting rid of cable and getting Hulu live or similar.

Ugh, the lost animals. I just can't think about it. I'm sitting here worrying about my stray cat having to be in this snow. Losing an animal is my biggest fear, losing an animal in a fire is a nightmare. I'm glad the community is stepping up. The lack of news coverage of this is troubling. I don't know if it's just because it happened around the holidays and I'm out of my normal news cycle routine or what.

I watched the first episode of 1883 and really liked it. It's free on Amazon Prime but the rest you have to pay for. I'm going to try to find the other episodes. I really liked Yellowstone early on, the last season I didn't care for and haven't watched the current season, but the scenery is always worth the watch.

I think you have to pay for Yellowstone on Amazon, just the first episode of 1883 (the Yellowstone prequel) is up there to watch.

I watched Yellowstone on Peacock, but I don't know if they've changed the availability on that. Paramount is really strict about their content.

Yellowstone is on peacock, seasons 1-3. You must have premium.
Paramount+ is running a marathon of it right now. The final episode of season 4 airs tomorrow night.
I, assume, season 4 is on Paramount. I’m not that far yet.
Prior to today, all the episodes were commercial free with premium plus. Today, they have commercials. I contacted peacock customer service. Useless. They can’t tell me why it’s different. They have no list of what content is commercial free no what isn’t.

The aftermath of the fires is beyond tragic. I can’t wrap my head around the huge amount of loss, and for so many…just everything you have! It’s heartbreaking.

So sad about Betty White. Her birthday was just 17 days away! I remember watching The Golden Girls. It first aired in 85 and ran through 92. I’m not at all sure I watched it through to the end. I was in elementary school when it started!

Picked up groceries today and when I started to put them away, I noticed the pantry smelled and some of the wood was damaged. Looks like a slow leak, the wall is wet. Someone is coming Monday to look at it. There’s no water source above it…no bathroom, sink, tub, etc. So, I’m not sure where it’s coming from. I’ve emptied the pantry onto the kitchen table and I can see damage to the shelves. Super fun! On a positive note, I told the minions I could smell mold. For months I’ve said it. I couldn’t find a source. Hopefully, this is the source and my headaches will now go away. Interestingly, they are worse downstairs and it lessens when I go upstairs. The minions say they can’t smell it, but they both could when I opened the pantry door today. I don’t keep onions or potatoes in there…it’s all from water. I can smell something when I walk in the door. I thought it was carpet where we had a huge leak in February. It was, to some extent. Obviously, there was more.

I thought Baby M went back to school on Thursday. Nope. The 13th. We get another week!

I was thinking of watching Yellowstone but the where's and what's of how to view are just to complicated!

I never watched Golden Girls until reruns like 20 years ago. I would say it's my favorite show of all time or at least one of the top for sure.

Oh no. A slow leak. I am still waiting for work to get done. It's been slow going.

I have the most sensitive nose so I can relate to the being able to smell something but not sure where it's coming from. When I was in college and living in an apartment my air conditioning unit was kind of in my closet and one of the cables froze up and then leaked and things just smelt like mold but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from until I finally stepped into my closet and the carpet was wet. It was a mess.

Paramount makes it super difficult to watch its shows, and I still hate what they did with Waco and that they continue to not make it available or put it on DVD, so I boycott.

I did find a way to stream 1883 for free so I'm doing that.

I'm half wondering if I maybe have a nontraditional version of covid, just a gastro version which is apparently a thing in about 16% of covid cases. My stomach has been bothering me for like three days now. I'd say it's not covid but my heart rate is super high, I've had a headache so bad my teeth ache off and on the past three days and I'm exhausted and sleeping like I haven't in a really really long time. I was able to go out and shovel the snow but it knocked me out which it shouldn't. I might have to track down somewhere to get tested just to see. I have at home tests ordered but they're not due to be delivered for another week.

That definitely sounds like it, especially the headache.

I'm feeling much better but just had a huge coughing fit. Now I need to go lay down. I was good all day. And this is why I know I need a few more days to rest.

I suppose that’s possible. Anything is possible these days. Stupid Covid.

I would say no way its covid but the exhaustion and headaches make me wonder. I have no idea, I don't think anyone has any idea anymore. My county is on fire right now though so it wouldn't shock me if I did have it.

I decided to say F it and made chili and really test out my stomach, I haven't gotten sick yet, I'm still hungry it just feels like a brick is sitting on it after I eat.

It seems like every symptom out there could be COVID nowadays. I heard that if you’re unable to get tested but have symptoms then you should assume you have it and start isolating. I hope you guys feel better soon, it’s nerve wracking feeling ill in these times.

Paramount is a strange bird but if you want to watch Yellowstone you need to have Peacock (not the free version) and for 1883 you need Paramount +. I don’t understand it either but it seems that Paramount doesn’t own the rights to Yellowstone, NBC does. I think they totally botched the rollout of Waco and it doesn’t make any sense that it’s not streaming on Paramount or even Netflix anymore.

My SIL, a few years back, had a cough that started out of nowhere and just kept getting worse so she went to the doc and got an inhaler and other meds but nothing made the cough go away. She gets ready to sell her house and remodel her master bath and the contractor discovers mold in her walls so he treats it and finishes the remodel. Her cough went away as soon as the mold was gone. Mold is very dangerous & nothing to play around with. Hopefully, you get your pantry taken care of ASAP. Home repairs can be such a hassle though

I was going to make chili today and didn’t. perhaps, tomorrow.

I really hope the water issue is an easy fix.

I’ve thought it was Monday most of the day. I’m so off.

I read an article bout Yellowstone why it’s not airing where we think it should. They thought peacock would get it seen by a larger audience, so they sold them exclusive airing rights for three years, I think it said. Apparently, the same reason why South Park is on HBO Max…it seems weird to me.
