Everything NOT related to Taylor, but let's be honest, Taylor gets mentioned here as well.

Thanks for the new thread!

It snowed like three inches last night but it's supposed to be almost 70 on Thursday!

NHL playoffs start tomorrow, so they'll probably release the celebrity brackets then. If Taylor does one I have to imagine he's going Tampa Bay all the way.

I have so many balls in the air right now. I'm supposed to go to Cleveland this weekend for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions but I currently don't have a ticket. Prices are coming down so we are monitoring. BUT my nephew's Christmas present was Sixers or Flyers playoff tickets if they were to make it. Well.. they both did and they both start this weekend. Weekends are best for him because of his basketball and weight lifting schedule. He's hounding me, my Bon Jovi crew are hounding me, and my friend's daughter wants me to go on another accepted students tour with her on Saturday at a school in Philly. Everyone wants a piece of me this weekend. haha I know if I wait too long on the playoff tickets, prices are going to go sky high. I'm so anxious.

I have to go to Chicago this weekend. Scott got the job there and we're staying with my best friend while we look at places on Saturday for him. I'm not enthused.

Tickets always make me stressed. We still don't have tickets for the Derby and it looks like the cheapest right now are $425 a piece, which...ugh. I'm hoping they might come down a bit in the next few weeks. Then I have another friend trying to get me to get Justin Timberlake tickets for his Chicago show in October. I told her we have to hold off on that, October is so off my radar at the moment.

I've been to Cleveland a handful of times (I did Habitat for Humanity there) but I've never been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I'm sure it's cool! Howard Stern was talking about going yesterday.

I went once like 20 years ago. Howard Stern is the one inducting them. Each artist has someone different giving a speech.. .blah blah blah and then actually inducting them, ceremony style. Jon picked Howard and the back story is actually hysterical. If you get a chance listen to the episode when Jon was on Howard's show a few months back. So funny.

Howard was complaining about not wanting to go.

I'm sure not because he doesn't want to induct them just that he hates being away from home.

The whole show with Jon is him bitching that it's in Cleveland. It's hysterical. And the way he asked him etc. etc. It's funny. I actually knew they knew each other and that Howard was a fan, but apparently they are really close. I didn't know.

I love Howard Stern but I love even more that he and his wife foster cats, I follow her on instagram and they are so sweet. They run a foster out of their home essentially.

Just reading that makes me itchy and sneezy.

I didn't like him back in the day.. he was a bit much, but I like him better now. I don't really listen to him though unless he has a guest on that I like.

worthyoflove 04-10-2018 05:20 PM

They have a big enough house that they have designated "foster rooms" so they have like a kitten foster room or other rooms in case a cat doesn't get along with other cats. They had five cats of their own but two just died recently. That's why I was listening to Howard yesterday, they had to put one of their cats down over the weekend.

My cat is 13, I've always had a dog and a cat but I don't know if I'll get another cat after Sam is gone until after I have kids.

I had been having the worst stomach issues the past few days and have kind of had them off and on since I stopped drinking pop about three weeks ago, I drink pop today and bam, feel so much better.

elherts 04-11-2018 05:48 PM

That's funny. Try to drink Ginger Ale instead of Cola though. .. less chemicals and no caffeine. I gave up Diet Soda for two years now, but I still drink regular from time to time.. but probably too much.

worthyoflove 04-11-2018 05:53 PM

That's exactly what I drank today, we have fountain pop in our office and Vernors is one of them. I'm sure it was the ginger in it. But it really helped, it's been so long since I had it and thought I'd give it a try, that's what my grandma always used for upset stomachs.

I was watching the hockey game but it went south fast, though I want Philly to go far because the further they go the better draft pick the Wings get from them for Mrazek.

It looks like Taylor didn't do a bracket this year, the celebrities they do have a pretty lackluster.

elherts 04-11-2018 06:02 PM

That's a big rivalry too .. east and west coast PA. We're getting our asses kicked.

worthyoflove 04-11-2018 06:05 PM

It's just one game and they're on the road. Let the Pens blow their load this game. What is Philly's goalie situation? I know they traded for the Wings backup this year because your goalie was injured? Or do I have that wrong. Mrazek is really hot and cold, he's always been that way, but he can really steal games here or there when he's on.
