I think I had just finished watching Deadwood when Shelby showed up on FNL, and she's a prominent character on there. Whatever it was I just couldn't see her as Matt's mom.

She's in a ton now, she was in Gone girl too!

I think they had a hard time not laughing through that scene, Taylor seems awful giggly.

I wonder if they told him to go in there and "gear down" or if he was just like...yeah, I'm gonna drop the pants and grab a beer because that's what Riggs would do.

Part of me thinks it would be improvised, but then it makes sense to be part of the script b/c if his pants were on, seeing him on the couch with Tyra wouldn't have been a eye raising for Lyla. Maybe it was all improved. They really did seem to be having a hard time keeping a straight face. Maybe he did a few takes with his pants, then dropped them the last time, and that's the take they kept... We know he likes to throw his cast mates off.

In an old podcast interview, Derek said Tim taking his pants off was an ad-lib. And the underwear he's wearing is by Taylor's cousin's company, so it was a bit of product placement. :D

But yeah, product placement...but I would have appreciated a nice waistband up close shot if they were trying to promote the underwear. :lol:

Are we going to restart the rewatch tomorrow night. I just gifed a scene from season 4 and forgot how much I liked brother-in-law Riggins.

I'm good for an episode or two tomorrow.

I somehow forgot that I had Red Wings tickets for tonight, for whatever reason I didn't think preseason games started until next Tuesday. Anyway, I'm trying to off load them because well preseason games and all so hopefully I can still watch tonight. I think a guy at my office is going to take them.
