I wonder if this was his driveway or a friend's driveway ... I thought his house was located on a street with a gate and very few other houses.

Maybe they were at a neighbors house. If he is in a gated community. Who knows. I feel like stories like this generally tend to be extremely exaggerated.

Like they maybe turned around in his driveway and he was in it.

An actual fan encounter and picture! But not the greatest picture, and was from back in late July while he was in Montana/Wyoming. A fan ran into him while he was photographing wildlife.

Looks cold for July. However, I have spent some time with outdoor photographers and it does get pretty cold out there sitting and waiting for wildlife to appear. Also, most of the best pictures are taken early morning or maybe, late afternoon/early evening when it tends to be colder.

I wonder if that's the G'ver hat???

So this was in Jackson, Wyoming I believe and she posted the picture in early August, but it seemed like they were on the trip where they saw him in late July.

I don't think it's the Giv'r hat. It looks like it has a symbol on it. But I'd have to look through pictures to see if I've seen it before.

I love that picture, but it looks like he didn't know it was being taken, which makes me uncomfortable.

These kind of photos always make me wonder if I should post or not. Kind of like the picture of him sleeping on the plane. Only years later do we find out that not only was the photo in bad taste but it was also a flight he was most likely taking to go to LA to deal with his sister in rehab....

Anyway, I thought about what I should do with it.

She made it sound like she definitely had interaction with him. An experience she'd never forget. But maybe because of Covid she didn't take a picture with him.

I think it's a little out of focus because it was probably taken from a distance. She wasn't young, she was probably in her 50s-60s.

If she talked to him, she could have at least got his face.
