Guys are gross...I've never noticed that before. But that's the movies for you.

Paul is too gullible, I feel bad for him and then when they bring in this other "Dr" he looks so put out.

I was wondering that too.

I still don't get it. I mean I get it, but I don't GET IT.

The whole bar scene is hysterical... the whole thing. This is why I think he would be great in a comedy. The old guy is hysterical and the scene with Paul and the other guy (forget his name} talking about cricket and the guy is just repeating whatever he says 1/2 a second after he says it. It's so funny.

I just realized this: It was probably the first time Paul ever felt part of a real community. Even beyond his relationship with Brendan, he thought he'd made real friends among people who had his same interests and genuinely cared about him. And he'd gotten invested in the patients' lives and well-being too. It's kind of sad actually.

I know I've said it before but maybe Taylor's best scene in the whole movie is in the bar with Murray when he kind of breaks down to him about his girlfriend cheating.

He would be SO perfect in a dark comedy. Like something like The Breakup (which i love love love) he could really use his sarcastic comedic timing but he can play hurt/broken so well too.

I feel bad for him.

You mean you don't get the concept? Your feet are cupped and used for, uh, friction. It's a real thing.

I agree the bar scene is his best.

Ohhhh! You meant you don't get the APPEAL of it! I'll edit my post.

He'd also be great in just a straightforward romance. Because he can project such vulnerability.

She's such an a-hole! UGH! She's so cruel!! Oh and I change my mind, I think THAT's his best scene. The one where she tells him the truth.

Ha ha. No, I get that. I just don't get why it was funny to go the whole lawnmower route. It's odd.

I would totally climb in between my best friend and her husband to have an important conversation. In fact I think I have.

Wait. Why did they tell him they hired the other doctor?

Also, Brendan has NO RIGHT to be so angry and self-righteous toward Paul. Dude, you lied to him the WHOLE time! Paul deserved to be furious!

Paul is the epitome of book smart but has limited social skills and street smarts. I have a few friends like that.

I love Taylor so much in this movie. I enjoy the movie too, but he makes it worth watching over and over again. I know I'm preaching to the choir. Haha. But it just gives me the warm fuzzies when it's over. And this time the phone scene has me, uh, feeling things.

I'm actually glad we ended up watching this instead. Thanks.
