I just watched Waco again and this is probably my favorite role Taylor has done. Every scene Taylor just kills it, Dave is menacing & friendly. Taylor has great chemistry with all his cast mates.

I rewatched it too this past week and it was incredible. Everyone did a great job ... but for the life of me, I cannot understand how John Leguizamo got nominated for an Emmy and Taylor didn't????? How anyone else in that series didn't for that matter. I mean John was good but that good???? The only thing I can think is maybe it was a tough year collectively for the leading role category and Taylor just missed out against other stiff competition and John, being a supporting role, had more leeway and made the cut. I don't know ... some things just don't make sense.

I still contend that JL was so good in this. I just thought he was so subtle and emotional. Nothing like I've ever seen him play before. That being said, he has a name in Hollywood, and I'm sure that had something to do with it. Besides Taylor though, I thought he was the best one. Taylor got robbed. The category was so big at that time. But I don't have any trust in awards anymore after Timothee Chalamet got robbed last year.

I watched the first 3 episodes but I'm not going to finish it. Ive seen it twice already, but honestly, I find it hard to watch, although I do think it's Taylor's best work.

There were so many good performances. Everybody brought their A game. I do wish Taylor had been nominated. He truly deserved it. The final scenes of him walking through the fire. Or when he's shot and talks to Gary over the phone. Just wow!
