It is, it makes me have trouble breathing and a headache. I bought a air quality monitor so I can take it in and prove to them that we are being forced to breathe in toxic cigarrette smoke

That's a great idea , you show them. Ugh, just the thought of breathing smoke in gives me a headache. I absolutely hate it.

I set up the monitor today, just waiting for the smoking to start, they do it after 4 pm now so only a bit longer until I see if the reading change. I have the monitor in front of my computer camera and am Zooming myself so I dont have to be there to breath in the toxi air. Anyway I figure I need proof because the facility manager keeps saying it is an odor and not smoke so it should not bother anyone. guess I have to have scientific proof!

Well they changed the smoking times(because of me) and I set up the camera but had to do it by Zoom since my other cameras would not work on the work wifi and my Zoom timed out when I lost internet when I was driving . So nothing yet, we tested the monitor with smoke and it does detect it and there is some not the best air quality showing up occassionally but not what readings we get with the smoke. I will have to get them to tell me when they are doing the experiments again so I can see what is happening but maybe they are done? I'll let you guys know

I think they stopped for now. It is random, they use the room and stop but I'm ready for the next time it does happen. My boss cancelled another weekly department meeting, I think he is worried people are upset, the unveristy granted us 2 weeks off at Christmas for all our hard work and he is making us work while he stays home and enjoys his time off of course.

My boss is the worst, I am still hoping he will retire soon. He is 67 but told people he can't retire because his wife spends too much. He did say he was planning to retire at 70 It can't come fast enough, he just is a horrible boss.
