I think I joined because of the oth board and BL thread too but i don't remember. I just remember that it was constantly busy. Lots of people were spending time on :ff: compared to now. I think there was a pinned thread about the drama/love triangle and people were crazy about it? There used to be more mods.

Yeah, people got busy and bored...I know i did. It was fun sometimes. For me, it eventually became a chore which is why I stepped down as mod.

And then you have twitter and instragram that have really replaced message forums

Exactly and social media is addicting.

Yeah theres so many other ways for fans to consume media about their favs that message boards arent really used as much
