Okay so this thread was suggested by my co-mod and I totally loved the idea. Instead of having seperate threads for parental couples we'll have a general one.

George/Anne Reasons

Most definately. I feel bad that they argue and that Anne wants a divorce but they're arguing is what always gets me laughing.

Even that hate relationship George has with Kathleen is hilarious.

Anne/George- We've learned more and more about the two of them as the show has progressed; with Divorce in their future, the time the two have together may be close to an end. Or is it? I personally have a feeling that they will maybe separate then get back together (think Mitch and Gail Leery from Dawson's Creek). Another feeling of mine, I think it's possible Anne finds out she's pregnant (after their brief tryst in the garage). I think it's sad that they've drifted apart, but George seems pretty intent on working it out, not to mention Ashley being the couple's main shipper.

George/Kathleen- I love the bickering and the silliness that crops up when they are thrown together. Clearly they married for the wrong reasons (as Kathleen recently just admitted) and it wasn't a bad thing that they parted ways.

Ruben/Cindy- I think their story is just beginning. With Adrian trying to push the two of them back together, I think we'll be seeing them together more and more. And like Adrian pointed out... he IS on his third marriage... It sounds to me that their relationship never really got a fair chance to bloom (what with Cindy getting pregnant on purpose and turning down his marriage proposal).

Marshall/Kathleen- Things don't seem to be sailing so smoothly for the two of them as of late. I'm curious to see what happens, if anything.

^ Well it just goes to show that the adults have the same relationships issues the kids do!

Does anyone think that they're maybe more possible adult hookups. Do you think Anne will hook up with Marshall or something?

I'm actually looking forward to finding out more about Mr. Molina's relationship with his new wife. I mean given that we found out that he had a girlfriend and then married her and he thinks he's married the wrong woman. I was talking to Ashley about that the other day and one of my main thoughts about that was that the only reason Mr. Molina married said wrong woman was because he got her pregnant. What other reason would there be to marry the wrong woman?

^ Given the door breaking incident Mr. Molina spoke of about his wife...she sounds like a total psycho.

I wonder if we'll meet her sometime soon.

I'm eager to see Mr. Molina's wife. I'm mostly just interested in seeing how Mr. Molina is outside of school. The show should also show scenes with Ruben & Cindy interacting with one another because I gotta see how well they get along.

I think I have a clear idea of who will play Mr. Molina's wife (only because of some guest stars that Brenda Hampton mentioned in an interview but I won't mention it because I think it might be a little spoiler-ish) so I'm anxious to see if I could be right.

And yeah, seeing some Ruben and Cindy interraction would be fun.

I think this show is absolutely amazing when it comes to parents being involved with their kids lives. It is so annoying when you barely see parents on teen drama shows. Very unrealistic.

And last night we definately got a lot of good parent interraction.

Really loved how Ruben called George about Adrian's mother when George said that Adrian was a nice girl. The guilt on George's face was perfect!

Ooh, interesting post. I've never seen Dawson's Creek, but you could definitely be on the right track with Georganne breaking up and then getting back together later on. Plus, what an interesting twist that would be if she did find out she was pregnant from the garage incident! That never even crossed my mind.

And wouldn't it be ironic if by the end of the series - whenever that may be - Georganne prevailed and Marshaleen divorced? (I somehow doubt Brenda would want to break up her perfect family, but that would be a great twist IMHO.)

And I agree with you about Cuben, I think they have real potential. (And it's so sweet that Adrian wants her parents back together.) I think there's definitely a possibility for divorce in Ruben's future.

And Georgeen really cracks me up, especially after last night's episode. I can definitely see their chemistry and how they were attracted to each other once upon a time. (I kind of hope they do a flashback episode sometime, showing the "young" versions of George, Kathleen, and Anne and how things went between them and how George ended up with Anne after Kathy cheated on him.)

I also kind of liked Gindy. Yes, it was an affair and not cool, but since I have a liking for each of their characters individually, I was amused by them being together. (I also really liked Geroge's fatherly attitude towards Adrian before Ruben came into the picture.) I wonder if we'll ever see more of Gindy once the Georganne divorce occurs? (Even if it is fleeting.)
