The Skulls
hello everyone, i just became a memeber and i gotta say this website absolutely rocks. I feel so informed about everything Josh is doing now because i'm a big fan of his and wasn't really aware of the stuff he was doing. anyway, i just saw skulls and he's great in it. the movie was ok, but Josh's performance was really good. I'm really excited about seeing him in cursed. Well that's it. take care.

jjslatingirl ! Nice to have you around here. The Skulls is one of my Josh favourites so far mainly because he gets so much screen time but the story wasn't that bad either. __________________

Well, I watched The Skulls a couple of weeks ago. I was on a Josh Jackson kind of kick, watching all of his movies. And I can say this...love him when he's rowing!

I absolutely loved "The Skulls" and own the VHS and Special Edition DVD versions. One main reason for liking it so much is that I went to university in the city it was filmed in (in fact lived on the street leading to Port, where it was shot) and was big into the rowing scene there. The stands they show during the race at the beginning were only erected shortly before filming and were put up for the World Rowing Championships being held there shortly after filming wrapped. They chose St Catharines to film because of these stands - love it! I really wanted to visit the set but I was helping all the athletes who were participating in the WRC settle into our facilities and residences; I am friends with a lot of the people who got to be in the other teams during the race scene though. I also have friends at the university they used for the rest of the filming and so know the area well - it is great to look back and recognise everything since I moved.
My favourite scene is at the end with the lighthouse - I seemed to wind up there with all the guys I dated throughout university, so to see Josh & Leslie there at the end was very cool. |

All I know is that the Shower scene was great....My fav.scene was when he first got the phone call and did all the runnin' around...that was sexy to me. I loved the movie and Josh is so sexy. When i got home from the theater( i went with a girlfriend) my hubby was a VERY happy man...oops lets take that to the gutter.

I still love this movie and would love to see it again soon. The DVD sounds worth buying. Josh was hot from start to finish. Love him!

The dvd is worth buying for two reasons: the director's commentary is full of insider info ("squishy" lights, the ATM, Josh's 21st birthday) about filming in and around Toronto (my home town) and he has nothing but praise for Josh. The other reason is that the shower scene is hot, but it's incredible in slo-mo!
