It was a quiet weekend. I did buy soil and seeds for me deck garden (vegetable) and got my flowers for my garden. I was busy opening new Threads last night. That took a while.

My son came over to do laundry and during the winter we had started watching the Twilight Series. We only had the one left, so watched that tonight after a lovely supper. His girlfriend stays home when he comes to do laundry. I like her, but it is nice to have just our little time together.

 We were talking about the fandom and I was filling him in on some of the stuff from the book that doesn't quite make it into the movies. One of his favourite stories about that time is when my Ex (his father) and I went to the Theatre to see BD Part 2. I had read the book and had already seen the movie (since I had gone a couple times) and pretty much everyone in the theatre had either read the books or had already seen the movie except my Ex, so when the scene where The Cullen clan et al start fighting the Volturi, and Carlisle's head gets ripped off, my Ex yells out "What the F_ck" as a reaction to the scene and the whole theatre laughs. He didn't know that it was Alice's vision.  It still makes me laugh.__________________

The kids are coming for a BBQ tomorrow, so I've been prepping for it. I'm making Pork/chicken kabobs, and ribs with salad and stuffed potatoes. Strawberry Shortcake for dsessert.

It’s killer hot here. Ugh. I’m wiped from grocery shopping and running errands in this heat. Finally back home and relaxing now though Tomorrow I’m going to my sister’s. Bunin my niece is going to cook pasta for us __________________
