I didn't know about Hurricane Teddy but we have been having some strange weather today with a thunder storm and hailstones and then a sunny day again. It is rather cold in the mornings and evenings which is normal for the time of year, but we have been having some quite warm weather this month. Will keep an eye on the posts.

We got off pretty easy. By the time Teddy hit us it had been downgraded to a Tropical Storm and it had shifted a bit east, so didn't quite hit us head on. We didn't even lose power which is lucky.

Yeah. I think the media was a little disappointed though And I know I was a little disappointed that we didn't lose power at work

Heard some worrying news. My son's partner is feeling ill with Covid 19 symptoms and is awaiting the test results. As she is frontline staff at the local hospital and our area is going into tier 3 of the restrictions it is likely that she has got it. Will keep you posted with news when I hear anything.

Oh no, that's terrible. Hopefully she doesn't have it, but if she does, let's hope she fights it off quickly. We will be thinking of you and your family.

Yes the test is positive, but we took round their mail on Monday and she is feeling a bit better but very lethargic. So far my son isn't showing any symptoms, but they will both have to self isolate for another 10 days so are getting all groceries etc. delivered, and are staying in the apartment.

I'm currently on antibiotics for suspected infection in my leg due to psoriasis, and at the moment most of my body is covered in plaques. At least I don't have Covid-19.
