Well over here once they have reached 25 the insurance drops a bit. It used to be cheaper for women but after a lot of objections about it not being fare on the boys they made everyone's insurance high. You can't win!

My husband actually works for Admiral Insurance and all of their customers are from the UK. If that's your insurance company then you may have talked to him on the phone at some point. Of course he's only been with them since February.

My son is with Elephant which I think is under the same umbrella as Admiral. We are with LV as they were the cheapest when I was looking for new Insurance. The car is insured under my name as I haven't had any claims for a few years but my husband had to have a repair on the company lease car that he had when he was working, so didn't have a no claims certificate. The difference was enormous. In the first year it would have been about £800 for him but was only £185 for me. It has gone up since then but is still relatively low as the car we drive is classed as a 1000cc engine as it is an eco type. I don't really understand the fundamentals but the insurance class is low.

My son was ticking along nicely until he had that driving offence that has really bumped his insurance up. Something for everyone to consider before taking any driving risks.

I am going on holiday for a week to Lanzarote from 31st October to the 7th November but should still be able to post most days as there is Wifi in the hotel and I think there is a computer room where you will be able to hire computers (I hope).

This one is mainly for my husband to get some chill out time. He works quite a lot for retired members groups and still mans the office where he used to work when they are short staffed.

I am practicing with the tablet to get used to it ready for the holiday, so my posts may be a bit erratic.

The trouble with my tablet it is not much bigger than my smart phone so I can't do a Hangman quote as I don't know if it has a paste and copy function - or how to do it.

Thanks, I just wish everything had stood out more. There was treasure and a dagger on the table, but you can't see them. And I had smaller skeletons hanging from the lamp.
