I had a job in an accounts department of a bed and bedding company and the office was a hotbed of gossip and nastiness. Working with patients in hospital and in the community was a lot better than that! I suppose the nearest that the US has to my job was being a caregiver like Juliette Lewis in Aurora Borealis.

I also worked in The Civil Service for about 20 years before I had David. That's why I have a reasonable pension now. In the Department I worked in we really earned our pensions. I hated working there but it helped pay for the horses so I couldn't really give it up as unemployment was very high in the city where I lived.

I was a real horsey girl up until my thirties and as soon as we (my sister and me) could afford it we bought our first horse, who we kept until her early 20s then we gave her to a young woman who kept her til the end. We had a lovely foal from her who we broke in and kept til she was 5 years old when we sold her to a keen teenager as neither of us had the time to ride her every day, which she needed. We had other horses after, but for me Tammy was my first love. I still miss horses but I don't kid myself that I could ride now. with my dodgy knees and back!

I used to ride when I was younger and my parents offered to buy me a horse, but I was afraid the novelty would wear off, so I said no. Then years later my mother bought a horse for herself and she had him for a few years then sold him to her sister who had him until the end. (You probably saw pics of him in the past when I posted them in the OT Thread) My other Aunt still has her horse and boards a couple more, so I've been around them a lot over the years.

It's Midnight and I was thinking how weird that Lesley is on, then realized you are an hour behind me right now since you are in NYC.
I figured Frozen would be amazing. Glad you enjoyed it. __________________

Patti Murin was brilliant as Anna. In her resume she sends love to her parents and also says

In the top pic you can see the tablet in her hand - The bottom pic is the one I took of the tablet from the Crown of the statue. |

Cool. So was there a gift shop right there or was there some secret Government offices?
