I think he is permanently in Times Square and does a lot of online advertising for the local restaurants and attractions, which is where he makes his money.

Last time we went my husband got very grumpy and wouldn't stop to see the guy, so this time I may have more time for pics etc - unless he tries to charge for them. The trouble with Times Square there are a lot of 'acts' who want to charge for pics and they tend to harass you if you stop near them.

Same here, I didn't get home from work until 8:40pm. It's been a long day.

That reminds me of 12 hour shifts.

I've been shopping for my up coming trip.

I would not want to do 12 hour shifts and especially now at my age.

That's why I gave up care work, because of the change in the hours of shift work. It used to be 8 hour shifts during the day and 11 or 12 hours at night, but it was changed to 2 12 hour shifts. Doing hard manual work in most cases was too much for 12 hours.

Ugh, I imagine. I only work in a Bank and I'm exhausted when I get home.

After you've taken the same person to the toilet in a wheel chair and helped them get settled abut a hundred times a day and then multiply it by about 30, you get the message! Very tiring and heavy on the back. After I'd driven home from a shift I could hardly get out of the car I was so stiff and sore.

I feel for you, I was comparing my less physical job to what you had done in your career. If I'm tired after what I do all day, I can imagine how exhausting your job must have been. I know I couldn't do that job.
