Nice to see he is still in twitterland if that's what you call it. The film sounds like a low key movie and not blockbustery at all. I see the star was in Anna Karenena with Ruth so maybe that's what prompted him to go to see it. Also she is incredibly beautiful.

I didn't realize Ruth was in Anna Karenina. I confess, I had a hard time getting through that movie - hated it.

Oh and it's referred to as Twitterverse, like universe.

I wouldn't even try. I loved War and Peace but never fancied Anna Karenina. Too much of a tragedy for me. I loved War and Peace - the BBC 1970s version - it was epic with a fantastic cast, led by Anthony Hopkins who was outstanding. His best ever performance in my opinion.

I found the movie so unappealing, that I couldn't even follow the storyline and it was so unforgettable, I don't even remember what it was about. And I'm a movie buff, I guess the style in which they made the film just wasn't my cup of tea.

Perhaps they stuck to closely to the book. Tolstoy tended to be a bit long-winded.

Good. I hope I didn't interfere but he tweets so rarely we need to see it as often as possible. Hopefully he will tweet about starting rehearsals or the Met Gala or the read through room. Maybe one of his young co-stars will anyway.
