Josh Quotes - A few words can say a lot

As we have a thread for our favourite Josh pictures. I thought it would be fun to also have one for Josh quotes.

Please don't post whole interviews just quotes.

I like this one, it show a lot about the type of person he is

Quote:

"I have high expectations of myself as a person, but my ambition is more to succeed as a human being than a business entity,"

Here's one that can give you a chuckle. Josh from V. Graham Norton:

"Are those really Pacey and Joey's sheets?" - G. Norton

" I wasn't lookin' at the sheets." - Josh

Making this a Pacey quote thread as well and reposting this:

Pacey: Look, I have three menstrually diverse sisters, okay. Cosmo is my savior.

Pacey: Man, video woman is my new English teacher. Okay? You, me, the movies tonight. We are stalking a faculty member.
Dawson: Dude, negative.
Pacey: What?! I actually have the possibility of losing my virginity in a high level fantasy fashion.

Pacey: You blew it, lady. Because I'm the best sex you'll never have.
Ms. Jacobs: You're wrong about one thing, Pacey. You're not a boy.

Pacey: I need a slave driver. Somebody with a whip, maybe?
Ms. Jacobs: Pacey! We can't interact like this.

Ms. Jacobs: What, is this your first time, Pacey?
Pacey: (embarrassed, quiet) You know that it is.

Pacey: (to Ms. Jacobs, angry) I know what you do with your students so I guess he's in for one heck of a ride.

Ms. Jacobs: What do you want from me?
Pacey: You. I want you.

Pacey: I mean, come on. My butt? It really, it's like a magnet. Chicks, they just can't keep their eyes off of it.

Pacey: Hey, I've got nothing going on now. So how about we go for a walk around town together.
Andie: Yeah, whats the joke.
Pacey: No joke, I've got no plans. And believe it or not, but I'd rather spend my time with you, than than flying solo. So pinch yourself, its your lucky day. Pauses) You in.
Andie: Well yeah, i might as well.
Pacey: Unless you've had your heart set on watching Dumbo.
Andie: Nah, I've seen it about 700 times. Your not gonna throw me in front of a bus are you.
Pacey: Thats not such a bad idea McPhee.

Pacey: Listen, i know its over. It has to be, but i just need to know, (Pauses) do you miss, erm, teaching.
Tamara: Yes. Very much.
Pacey: Good, because i miss you teaching. Very much.

From the Evening Standard article:
Quote:

"I am heartened to hear, that I may be gone but not forgotten."
As if we could ever forget him. Ts...
Quote:

"I don't consider myself pretty, I was never a pretty boy, I'm not
going to be a pretty man and it's not something I truly aspire too.
When I think of iconic men I think of that Forties era, of a guy in a good suit
and a hat. That's when men were men."

Amen to that. I like the entire article but it would be to much to post everything he said.

yes! i loved it too! :) i love the part where he says "I was a troubled teen, as they say. I was drinking -not smoking pot so much, as that was the easy choice in Vancouver and i was supposed to be rebel"

i also like from "alternative press": "I was heavily into rap music in the late '80s. I thought I was a real badass. But through rap I found punk. The message is the same: 'this **** is all ****ed up, and we have to do something about it. And the only way we're going to do it is to all get together and start talking about it'. As a teenager you're like, 'you're goddamn right!'"

awwww~ so cute... and so smart... :sigh: lol

"When you go to a bar, you hope somebody notices. I don't care if it's a guy. I just want somebody to notice."

I like blond girls. I like brunette girls, too. I'm a fan of women; hair color is negotiable.

where is that quote from? :)

oceangirl 03-22-2005 12:05 PM

I found it at a site! But can't remember which one though

Pacey : Teenage boys will come, Dawson. They'll come for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up in your driveway, not knowing for sure why they're doing it, and arrive at your door, innocent as children.

Pacey: Whether or not I can forgive you, Andie, is not going to be what keeps us apart. What you did... Our relationship was like this beautiful thing, and I don't think you ever realized how powerful it was. You changed my life, Andie, you were that person for me. You inspired me to be a man that I'd only ever dreamt about being. When you first started to get sick, it dawned on me that I might not be that person for you. I can never go back to loving you the way I did knowing that my love wasn't strong enough the first time around. I could always forgive you, Andie, but I will never forget.
Andie: But I still love you, Pacey.
Pacey: Goodbye, Andie.

Dawson : You are who you are, Pacey.
Pacey: Yes I am, Dawson. And so are you. You, Dawson Leery, are a self-righteous son-of-a-bitch who cares more about his rose-coloured, defunct 1950's belief system than the people who fail to live up it, huh?
Dawson : Interesting choice of words, coming from a smug, cold-hearted son-of-a-bitch who just dumped his girlfriend after she begged and pleaded for an ounce of sympathy!
Pacey : At least I didn't send her father to prison.
Dawson : No, you just made her go crazy.

Pacey : Remind me why we just did that again?
Dawson : Because if we're going to beat the crap out of each other, it should at least be over a chick.

Pacey : We're two young happening men in the prime of our lives who can't find anything better to do than sit in some sweat box in the middle of an armpit staining Indian summer, and watch old movies. Correct me if I'm wrong Dawson, but didn't we used to have a couple of really cute girlfriends?

About starring in an West End Play:
Quote:

It seemed a little scary, and a little scary is always good.

Quote:

The future is a blank slate so why sit here and say, "I'm going to do x, y and z," and then give yourself an ulcer when you don't hit those marks
That's one quote I love, I even have it on my LJ. If only I could live my life like that :sigh:
