Looking through the OP I could do with a bit of snow right now. It is ridiculously hot in our house tonight - another fitful night trying to get to sleep! On another note I saw 'our mate' in his pants in Times Square last week. Took a new pic but it didn't come out too well. I didn't dare get too close as I think he charges for pics. I saw a woman with her purse out ready to pay! We'll just have to make do with the pic in the OP.
 I know you will be disappointed Justine!  The usual hustlers were there ready to part unsuspecting tourists with their money. Virtually naked body painted women who get men to have pics with them for a fee, and a guy supposedly giving away his first CD and then asking for a donation to cover his costs. Funny he was there last time we were there still with the same tactic. |

I was out last night too. We celebrated Canada Day at my sister's. We had a bonfire and had some shooters with Maple Cream liqueur, Bailey's and Kahlua. They were so yummy and my daughter had bought these Maple Leaf shaped shot glasses for Father's Day.

Got the rest of the day to myself as the boys have gone to the Rugby today. Going downstairs to have some food now, so maybe I'll be back later. Got a few tv shows to catch up on, including Alias (if I can find it).

Hope you have a great time, enjoy your trip. Are the roads ok or do they get very congested like ours? Traffic jams are a pain and slow moving traffic can be really tiring.

I am going to a wedding in Wales next weekend so will be out of action depending on the internet connection and phone signals. We will be away from Saturday til Monday. |
