We used to have a thread like this a little while ago, mostly for people to post their "rumors", things they heard, or photos -- since it really wasn't "news".

Since I don't post or put up paparazzi photos on the site, I know that it'll always be discussion at some point on the boards. So, feel free to discuss things here and please refrain from bringing it to the news thread, unless it's actual "news" and not just gossip and paparazzi discussion.

As a special note: I'd appreciate if we could also refrain from long winded theories and psychological analysis of Josh and his personal/private life. We're all here for fun and enjoyment and don't need to have a rant or hypothisis of what is going on in Josh's head/life/whatever. If they get too ridiculous, they will be edited. Thanks.

Josh + Diane in NYC at the "Flags of our Fathers" premiere after party October 17th.

We last left off with a rumor posted by rosedc2001 which was found in Life & Style Magazine:

The lovebirds made out in the greenroom backstage at the Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards in New York City before Diane had to present an award, an eyewitness tells LifeandStylemag.com.

Diane, 30, asked the team at the Piaget jewelry counter — set up for celebs looking to borrow jewelry for their onstage appearances — if they happened to have an engagement ring.

“Joshua held her hand and smiled the whole time that Diane was asking about it,” says the eyewitness. “They were totally serious about the ring. I think he would've slipped one on her finger right there if they'd had one! They held hands and he made her laugh constantly between kisses.”

Some say the funniest moment happened just before Diane went onstage. Joshua, 28, was sitting on the couch and chatting with the very sexy Carmen Electra, but he suddenly stood up in mid-conversation and ran over to the TV monitor to watch his girlfriend present her award.

“Carmen just looked at him like he was nuts,” says the eyewitness. “He was so smitten with Diane! He didn’t even seem to notice anyone else in the room. He left Carmen while she was speaking to him!”

The couple, who first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted kissing in Paris in June, have really stepped up their romance in just four months!

I would so not be surprised if Diane showed up to an event in the very near future sporting a nice sized rock - given the passion, intensity and swiftness of their relationship - we didn't even know they knew each other before early June - I'll bet they are engaged by the new year, if not earlier. Unless, of course, like many other "young Hollywood" couples, they move straight to baby-making...

I, too, would not be at all surprised if she and Josh are married soon. (When will Diane's divorce be final? How long do these things take in Europe?)

my thoughts are...that this convo is definitely rumor and speculation...

and I truly hope that they take their time...and enjoy courting each other
and get to know each other deeper and take a realistic approach to this relationship...I would love to see them happy...and together for a very long time, not just another "Hollywood entanglement".... their choice of career and lifestyle is tough on a marriage...and they need the precious ingredient of time...blended in with the love, excitement, and attraction...to bring their relationship to the next level of intimacy.

I'm speculating...that there will be plenty of speculation about their romance
and that too...will be it's own entity that they have to deal with...
but.... he apppears to have a good head on his shoulders...and the whole getting up from the couch to see her give out that award...proves it...he is already putting her... and their relationship...first!!! Way to go Josh!!!

Eh, I don't think so. I would think that there would be a little bit more 'fanfare' if they were. Plus, I don't think Josh would be one to hide that he got married. I think he would be proud of his bride and would show an appreciation of that by wearing a wedding band or something, you know?

Also I am not sure that Diane's divorce is finalized yet.

Diane attended at party last night in Paris. This makes me wonder if Josh is with her and if he will attend the Bobby Gala at the BFI London Film Festival on October 26th and 27th. Fingers crossed he does.

bettyflo...I love your blog...you are doing a great job with it...

I was hysterical laughing at the article from N.Y. magazine...saying that
Jackson was a bad dancer...and looked like a skit from SNL...

hey....I give them credit for dancing...period!! especially with the eyes of the world on you...and you have to love how the gossip people have to editorialize
and criticize....everyone's every move...have they forgotten that dancing...and being at a party is for fun...

Mandy....ITA...I think if and when he decides to get married...he will be extremely proud...and honerable!!

bettyflo - Since they seem to do just about everything together, unless Josh had to work elsewhere (which, since we haven't heard any rumors of any new projects seems unlikely) I have to think he's with her, so maybe London's not far off the mark for next week...

I'm speculating Bonnie...that there will be plenty to see and talk about...

but personally....I'm waiting for him to get some nice juicy roles...for us to talk about....I much rather prefer that type of speculation and deconstructing...

and though we jest here...there isn't a one of us...that doesn't wish him the
most happiness...this life has to offer...

and by all the rumors of....

I think he's found that happiness...
