The recent Ex is boring because they took the whole idea of him being in a wheel-chair out of the character... I'm still angry about it... there was a whole storyline about how they first met when he was still walking but the second time she meets him he's in a wheel-chair...
This is so annoying that they just made him another pretty face and nothing new.
In the original version I really liked the character..

There's nothing special about him. I wonder if they are planning on having him get into an accident in the future and be in a wheel chair play out the storyline you are talking about on the series

That would have been more interesting, I wish they would've done that.

It might sound horrible to say to wish the character to lose the use of his legs, but I hope they do it still to make the dynamic of the character and the relationship more interesting. Right now they are blah and they won't make 'end game' status.

although the show is very upbeat so I don't know if I see them doing that storyline

I loved the first episode. The show was so much better than I was expecting. I was expecting that I'd enjoy it but it was far more edgy that I thought it would be. The cast were all great. I kind of liked the recent ex, I'm partly hoping he'll come round and marry her! Johnny was mean!

Not that great only 6.85 mill and a 2.0 in the demo but it dominated the timeslot so hopefully CBS will give it a chance to grow.

CBS aren't that bad a station in regards to giving shows a chance. They're not fox, that's for sure.

Yeah, Fox is the cancellation network. Most of the times they don't give new shows, when they begin, a chance to expand.

I hope they give the show a chance as well. It seems like there's not much buzz about it, but I hope it makes it. I always end up liking shows that are hanging on by a thread like Veronica Mars and Friday Night Lights. Great shows, but no audience

Aww I thought this was really cute. I dvr'd it but waited and kept putting it off, but I actually watched it today and thought it was really cute.

I loved Bella and Johnny and he looked so hot when he came out singing, but I actually found and saw a little spark between her and her best friend. The one that has the girlfriend.
