Breaking News: Joe Manganiello Injured on Set Hub Productions has confirmed that Joe Manganiello has been injured recently while on set. While they were unable to elaborate as to how seriously the actor was hurt, they did issue the following statement to Aussie fans who were expecting to see the True Blood star next month at the Tru Blood 2 event: This morning Hub Central received a devastating call from the USA, to advise that tragedy had befallen our Tru Blood event over the last few days… poor Joe Manganiello was injured on set yesterday. He’s devastated that he is unable to fly and will not be able to join us, as he was very much looking forward to coming out to Australia.

me too! it was so sweet that he helped him. i guess he thought it was his responsibility being in the pack. we never see them together so it was nice. alcide can be his bodyguard i thought it was so cute how short Sam looked next to him, trying to be the tough guy!

I MET JOE AT THE DRAGON*CON THIS WEEKEND!! I got to take 5 photos with him at the photo ops, go to the True Blood panel (which i filmed) and get his autograph at the Walk of Fame!! Seriously the best weekend Ever! he is so sweet, way sexier in person and SO TALL!!!! I wore my Merlotte's Sookie outfit for one of the photos. hehe. and my Alcide shirt for another which he said he loves! I will never forget this

Alcide was the Big Bad Wolf on Sunday! Aww omg his face during the breakup! that whole scene was so intense! I can't wait to see what happens in the finale!

As they go to season 5 how does Alcide deal with the fact that Debbie attacked Sookie with intent to kill her but killed Tara then Sookie killing Debbie?

I can see Eric and Bill show up asap but Alcide will be there eric or bill will try and stop him but he sees Tara and debbie and Sookie. Christ the first season 5 scene will be tara dead debbie dead ....

so I wonder will alcide take back his feelings about Sookie and love now that she has killed debbie .

In the books he comes to see Sookie and he smells Debbie in the house. Since Debbie had gone missing, he does the math himself, but figures Sookie only did what she had to do to defend herself. Later she actually tells him how things happened.

In the books Eric buries the body, so I'm guessing he will do it in the show as well. And probably Bill will heal Tara.

I didnt read the books but i'm curious to see what they do with him in the next season. so sad that it's Sunday and there's no new eppy to watch.. i already miss Alcide



but we should get so much more goodies while we wait...

I don't know what to say... personally, after reading the books, I don't think he and Sookie will have a lot going on. They will probably have a lot of scenes together, but Alcide is pretty busy in the 5th book (his father wants to be the new packmaster, he dies... a lot going on). But maybe things will be different on the show...

I'm thinking they will change a few things for the show and keep some things.. it just sucks that we have to wait so long to find out.

'True Blood' star to heat up 'Two and a Half Men' -- EXCLUSIVE Two and a Half Men may have found a way to build upon its stellar premiere week ratings: Alcide is coming to Malibu! EW has learned exclusively that True Blood star Joe Manganiello will make an appearance in the Oct. 24 episode of the CBS comedy. He’ll play the smoldering hot boyfriend (as if he could play anything less) of Bridget, the ex-wife of Walden (Ashton Kutcher). Bridget will be portrayed by Judy Greer, who makes her first appearance on Monday. Manganiello just wrapped his fourth season of True Blood but he’s definitely staying ripped for other, um, important endeavors: EW already reported exclusively that he will play Big Dick Richie in Steven Soderbergh’s movie about male strippers. He’s also set to star opposite his old school chum Matt Bomer in an episode of USA’s White Collar that will air in January.
