I'm afraid I know him best as Valerie Bertinelli's husband.

What?! Oh that’s so unfortunate:(

Didn't know that her and Eddie were married

Ropetuned 10-10-2020 08:34 PM

Yep, they had his only son together too

stlavin95 10-10-2020 08:38 PM

Okay, thanks

I love that they named their son Wolfgang. I know Eddie Van Halen and his brother both started as classical pianists. I wonder if his son's name is an homage to Mozart, or just a whim.

Funny thing is that it could be either! People overlook he’s a Dutch - born American too

Quite true. It could be a family name as well.

Wolfgang is also the bassist for Van Halen, replacing Michael Anthony in 2006.

Ropetuned 10-11-2020 06:15 PM

He isn’t half bad either but Michael should have never new replaced. It became very obvious that his vocals were an important dynamic

I would certainly agree.

Big questions: Where does Van Halen go from here? Can they go on without Eddie and find a replacement or end up like Led Zeppelin did after drummer John Bonham died?
