In some ways, both. I rather wish we'd seen more of the characters relaxing after a tough case - assuming they did.

Scorpion had several episodes where the team was gathered at the end to celebrate, have a cookout or watch a movie. Those were great episodes. And on The Mentalist they had a tradition of "closed case pizza".
