These lists kinda shocked me, mostly because I guess my definition of guest character is in my mind one that appears in maybe three episodes at the most, maybe I’m wrong

I agree with you in principle, but I wouldn't put a number on it. Even so, William Bell is probably pushing it, but I had to include Leonard Nimoy.
