Fringe Funnies #1: Because sci-fi doesn't always have to be serious.

You have to watch this to believe it. Lance Reddick as you may have never seen him before. Viewer discretion advised.

Going way ... way ... way ... back to September 2, 2008: Anna Torv on the "Late Show with David Letterman" before she became a big star and one week before "Fringe" premiered on FOX.

Whatever happened to Dave Letterman?

From 2009: Insightful info from Anna on "Ellen".

I guess being married to an American didn't affect her accent very much.

Less than two years. Surprisingly, she never remarried and has no children at the age of 40.

Definitely surprising although she seems pretty disconnected from Hollywood and seems to like it that way

One bad experience may have turned her off of marriage.

Or perhaps she is still in love with Josh.

I like that. People can stay single too.

In love with Josh? Where did you read that?

Wow. We go from Anna and Josh hate each other to now she's pining away for him.

Well, it could have started with events that happened long ago.

Joshua Jackson went on record at the end of S2 stating for TV Overmind that he did not want an on screen romance with Anna. She, on the other hand, did.

https://www.tvovermind.com/jackson-i...nge-romance-2/

During S3 Anna babbles and rants about the Peter/Olivia storyline in two interviews shown (What does she say?) and declines to talk about Josh in one interview shown. Almost like she's been jilted.

She seemed somewhat angry and bitter while discussing it. She called their relationship "a sh** show" in one interview. Why would she be somewhat angry and bitter over a fictional relationship?

https://www.joshuajacksonnews.com/fo...0-fringe/page2

All this came on the heels of Joshua Jackson going on record at the end of S2 for TV Overmind stating that he did not want an on screen romance with Anna. She, on the other hand, did.

Anna had just gotten divorced from Fringe co-star Mark Valley (John Scott) and may have become smitten with Josh for real. He did not reciprocate and there you have it. Enter Diane Kruger and you had the nail in the coffin.

It's pretty much there in black and white.

In the words of the late Rod Serling from "The Twilight Zone" episode 'The Parallel':

Submitted to you without any recommendations as to belief or disbelief. You can accept or reject; you pay your money and you take your choice. But credulous or incredulous, don't bother to ask anyone for proof that it could happen. The obligation is a reverse challenge: prove that it couldn't.
