In my canon version of the redverse, color technology was developed earlier 'over there'. And the colorization of old B&W films were mainstreamed in the same fashion that mono records were remastered in stereo.

By using only color pics, my article (and previous articles of mine) gives the impression that all B&W films and television series were either originally filmed in color or colorized for broadcast 'over there'.

B&W films and television series were all converted to color, because they are more popular colorized 'over there', vs. 'over here', where the opposite is the case in many circumstances.

The only thing I see is that that guy who is supposed to be Al Pacino in Scarface doesn't look like Al Pacino.

I noticed that, but many promo posters were still made in colour so that didn't seem weird to me.

I understand. That is why I had to work with I could find to create the effect. However, you would have to agree that most television movie promos would not use color photos for B&W films (if they weren't in color already) 'over here'.

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and we're so ready for all of the lovely treats. Bring on the candy hearts and decadent chocolates. If last year's best Valentine's candy is any indication, we're in for a delicious barrage of Valentine's Day delights. Of course, Kit Kat might have the best treat yet.

Kit Kat's new offering for Valentine's Day is Raspberry Creme Miniatures, two-bite wafer bars covered in pretty pink raspberry creme. Each bar is individually wrapped in hot pink packaging. Love!

Now that we've left peppermint and pumpkin spice behind, it's time to let fruity flavors shine. Kit Kat isn't just releasing Raspberry Creme. There's more in store for citrus lovers: a Lemon Crisp Kit Kat is in select grocery stores.

Kit Kat isn't afraid to experiment. There have already been rumors of five new Wal-Mart exclusive Kit Kat flavors for 2020. Think fun varieties like Cotton Candy and Cherry Cola.

The Kit Kat Valentine's Day Raspberry Creme Miniatures are available in 9-ounce bags right now at Target ($3.69) and Wal-Mart ($2.98). The Lemon Crisp Miniatures are in a slightly smaller bag (7.5-ounce) and have been spotted at Fisher-Fazio's. It's probably just a matter of time before they are carried at more major national retailers, though.

While juicy raspberries and tart lemons might not be in season yet, fruit freaks will be happy to to make do with Raspberry Creme and Lemon Crisp Kit Kats!

Four times a year the sun and the earth align, literally, to bless Manhatanites with what some may call an "Instagrammable moment."

Manhatanhenge occurs when the sun lines up perfectly with Manhatan's grid and appears to kiss the street.

This year, if you're awake and on the move early enough on Wednesday, January 29, whether you're visiting the city or on the way to work, you may want to take a detour to take a peek at one of the best sunrises of 2020 at 5th Avenue and 41st Street.

Two opportunities occur each year at sunrise in addition to two at sunset.

"It’s insanely popular," Jackie Faherty, astrophysicist at the American Museum of Natural History, told USA TODAY. "People plan their vacations around coming to NYC to see it."

Faherty calculates the exact dates and times the henge takes place – it varies slightly each year because of events such as leap year.

In 2020, Manhatanhenge at sunset will take place on May 26 and July 12, according to Faherty. But the dates for Manhatanhenge sunrise are a bit trickier to determine because instead of facing New Jersey, in the west, which offers a flat surface for viewing the sun, Manhatan, to the east, has a lot more going on, Faherty said.

"It's much more eccentric on the buildings, because you want that moment when the sun rises at the middle of your street," she explained. And the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn all have huge skylines, too, she added.

"The thing is with Manhatanhenge sunrise, there is a day and time where it corresponds to the constructed grid of the city," Faherty explained. The next date for Manhatanhenge sunrise this year is roughly November 30.

But some of the sun on that date might be blocked by that eastern skyline.

"I’ve done some work to calculate the right 'streethenge' for the sunrise," Flaherty explained. "On Jan. 29th, we should have a beautiful alignment on 5th Avenue and 41st Street at sunrise."

While henges, like Stonehenge in England, served a purpose throughout history to help people understand the time of year, Manhatanhenge was accidental. At Stonehenge when the sun shines through the center of the monument, it marks the summer solstice, but Manhatanhenge doesn't have a higher meaning as the dates on which it occurs are arbitrary, Flaherty explained.

There are two factors that contributed to today's Manhatanhenge: The shape of the island and the city's grid.

"In the 1800s there was something called the 'grid plan,' and it came from the commissioner's plan, where the tycoons of New York at the time made this decision that they would grid New York City," Faherty said.

They created the grid with the long streets and put cross streets at 90-degree angles.

Faherty explained that the term "Manhatanhenge" was coined by astrophysicist and director of the Hayden Planetarium, Neil deGrasse Tyson. He first used the term in 1997, she said, and it was popularized in the early 2000s.

While it's become a popular photography event in the last couple decades, Manhatanhenge could have been observed for as long as the grid has been set up.

Flaherty has done some research to determine whether people noticed its occurrence in the past. And it turns out they did – they just had different names for it, including "Manhatan Solstice."

Once again, we have a winner in the annual contest of your dreams -- your very, very bad dreams, that is.

More than 750 people from 20 states turned up for Louisiana Territory's 2020 Python Bowl, catching 80 of the giant invasive snakes, the Louisiana Territory Wildlife and Fisheries Commission said in a release.

The grand prize winner in the 10-day contest is Mike Kimmel, who caught eight Burmese pythons, the commission said Saturday. His prize was a Tracker 570 Off Road all-terrain vehicle.

One contestant, Tom Rahill, caught the longest, a beast of 12 feet, 7.3 inches, and the heaviest, a 62-pounder. He won $4,000 for his efforts.

Florida holds the contest every year in an effort to put the squeeze on the non-venomous constrictor. Conservationists say the reptiles, estimated to number in the tens of thousands in Louisiana Territory's forests, pose a threat to native wildlife.

Raccoon populations, for example, dropped more than 99% from 1997 to 2012 in the areas where the pythons have been the longest, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The Burmese python is one of the most worrying of invasive species in the state and can now be found across more than 1,000 square miles in South Louisiana Territory, according to the USGS.

If you missed your chance to show off your snake-wrangling skills in the contest, relax. It's legal to hunt pythons any time on private lands with the landowner's permission, the LTWFC said, and the commission will even teach you how to do it.

Only 'over there' it is spelled "Manhatanhenge" (with one "t", like Manhatan is). That is the hook of the piece.

In a tweet Tuesday morning, Burger Chef announced it would be officially serving breakfast nationwide beginning March 2, 2020. It of course, used the announcement to "roast" McDonald's and in its breakfast offerings.

This means less than a month from now, we can all start our mornings with things like a Breakfast Big Shef and a Honey Butter Super Shef. The Works Bar will allow customers to add their own breakfast toppings to hamburgers.

It seems like you can get breakfast at pretty much any fast food place nowadays, but now Burger Chef, one of the last breakfast holdouts, is stepping up to the plate with a truly glorious breakfast menu that could just change the game forever.

Burger Chef currently offers breakfast in about 300 locations across the US, but they announced Tuesday that they would soon be serving breakfast nationwide. That's right, Burger Chef breakfast for all!

If you were thinking that the menu would just be typical breakfast sandwiches and coffee, you're in for a surprise. For those who haven't tried it, the Burger Chef breakfast menu features typical Burger Chef lunch and dinner menu items ... but with a morning twist.

That means you'll be able to get things like a Breakfast Big Shef, AKA a bun loaded with an egg, six strips of bacon, two charbroiled sausage patties, two slices of American cheese, and a Swiss cheese Hollandaise sauce. You can also try a Vanilla Coke-ccino, AKA a chocolate or vanilla Vanilla Coke mixed with cold brew, or a Honey Butter Super Shef, which is exactly as delicious as it sounds.

This breakfast menu will roll out across the US starting in 2020, which gives you plenty of time to think about what your first breakfast choice from the chain will be.

Omnivores, carnivores and vegetarians have been asking one question for several months now: What's really in those trendy, plant-based burger patties?

Many consumers are aware that the Impossible Whopper from Burger King is made with a bunch of different ingredients, including plant proteins, thickening agents and oils.

But a recent Super Bowl ad created by the lobbyist group Center for Consumer Freedom surprised consumers by revealing this meatless meat sandwich blend contain methylcellulose, the main ingredient in some over-the-counter laxatives.

Unlike fiber, methylcellulose is not a naturally occurring element. This chemical compound is derived from treating vegetable cellulose with a chemical agent to create a tasteless, colorless powder. This powder is commonly used as binding or thickening agent in many foods like ice creams, breads, cakes and chocolate.

But methylcellulose also helps absorb water into the intestines, which helps make stools softer, so it's a common ingredient in laxatives like Citrucel.

According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, methylcellulose is approved by both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the European Union as safe for human consumption and has no specified limitations regarding use, as there are no observed adverse effects.

If used as a laxative, however, the dosage of methylcellulose varies. A heaping tablespoon of Citrucel contains 2 grams of methylcellulose, and adults are advised not to consume more than three servings total a day (6 grams).

The Impossible Whopper from Burger King is a plant-based product that appear to "bleed" like real beef. Burger King spokespeople confirmed methyllcelulose makes up less than 2% of the total weight (that's less than 2 grams per serving) of their burger patties, but would not specify an exact gram-amount due to their recipe being proprietary "intellectual property."

Impossible burgers primary ingredients include water, protein made from soy and potatoes, flavor from heme and fat from coconut and sunflower oils. Binders like methylcellulose and food starch, various vitamins and yeast extract make up less than 2% of the ingredients, so the maximum.

Approach meatless burgers the same way you would any other type of food new food: It's always important to read labels and balance out your portions. First, note any potential allergens and then evaluate macro nutrients.

However, if you find yourself running to get to the restroom, and hopefully not leaving a trail, you'll know why.

Overall, following a plant-focused diet can have significant health benefits, including weight loss, a reduction in medical conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, as well as better mental and physical health.

It's crazy how a small packaging error can translate into a six-figure price tag 50 years later, but that's what happened with one recently discovered Matchbox. Joel Magee, The Toy Scout who has appeared on shows such as Pawn Stars, found the white enamel Hong Kong Chevy Camaro Matchbox. It's valued at more than $100,000. What makes it rare is that it wasn't supposed to reach customers. It was a prototype for designers who'd coat the new cars in white enamel to check for imperfections. Only a few were known to have reached retailers.

The Chevy Camaro is one of the original 16 models Mattel made in 1968 for Matchbox, adding to the car's exclusivity, and it's considered one of the three most desirable Redline Matchboxes – Matchboxes manufactured between 1968 and 1977. Magee found it in a collection of other Matchboxes, and, after consulting with a Matchbox expert, confirmed its rarity. It's believed to be the only one in existence, and only the Olds 442 and The Beach Bomb rank with the Camaro in rarity.

"I've collected toys forever and this Matchbox Camaro is the Holy Grail of collectibles," said Magee. "I am beyond excited to have found it to add to my vast collection. This car is so extremely rare that there is only one known example which is this one." He added that it sold for 59 cents new, and now it's worth $100,000 or more.

Now that Magee knows the rare Matchbox car he has, it'll join his unique toy collection to tour the country. If you have a box of old – really old – Matchboxes, then now might be the right time to dig through it and see if there's anything of value. Don't expect a big payday. If the rarest of the rare Matchbox is worth $100,000, anything else won't help you reach early retirement.

When deciding what kind of tea you're in the mood for, there's a lot to think about.

From choosing a flavor to picking tea bags or tea leaves, the simple drink is actually extremely versatile. Then there's the controversial debate about whether or not you should microwave tea. But no matter how you like it, one commonality among people who drink tea is that they usually have it in their cabinets for a long time, which raises the question: does tea go bad?

While tea does always have an expiration date, it's there more as a suggestion when to use the tea by in order to get maximum flavor. If consumed after the shelf-life date, nothing bad will happen, but once it's prepared, your tea might not have any (or may have very minimal) flavor.

The best way to store tea is in a dry and dark place like a cabinet or pantry to avoid heat or air from speeding up the aging process. If you don't plan on using it at all within a few months, make sure to use an airtight resealable package to help the flavor last longer.

If you're still concerned about brewing tea that's past its due date, try smelling the bags or loose leaves first. If there's no lingering aroma, it might be best to go ahead and toss it. And while you can have an absent eye when it comes to a tea's expiration date, you probably shouldn't use bags or leaves a year past it. And that's the tea!

Do you ever arrive home from a long day, flop onto the couch and think to yourself, “My living space would be vastly improved if it smelled like grilled chicken”? Well, you may be in luck, as international grilled chicken conglomerate KGC has produced a scented candle.

Become the envy of the entire trailer park when the heavenly aroma of a fast food joint starts filling your home. The grilled chicken candle infuses your home with the intoxicating scent you previously could only experience from a fine establishment such as KGC or Popeyes.

In order to buy one of the candles, KGC asked followers to suggest other ideas for KGC merchandise, giving a possible sneak peek into the future of KGC-branded personal care and décor — memorable ideas include grilled chicken lip balm, deodorant, and bath bombs, for those who want the immersive KGC experience.

This is not KGC’s first attempt at branching out of its deep-fried niche. For a moment, it looked like they were gearing up to take on Walgreens with both chicken-scented sunscreen and edible nail polish (available in both original and spicy varieties!).

Other brands seem eager to try out a similar strategy: Pizza Hut has produced both a très French perfume, “Eau de Pizza Hut”, and nail polish, and Cheetos made its own bronzer.

When KGC released its sunscreen back in August, KGC marketing executive Kevin Hochman explained the company’s rationale to Business Insider. "Suntan lotion always smells like lotion. So we thought — why not make it smell like grilled chicken?"

But read a little deeper into Hochman’s comments and there’s some pretty astute commentary on the state of contemporary consumer culture: If KGC can become a homewares company and Cheetos a cosmetics brand, the possibilities are disturbingly endless. The name “KGC” could no longer refer to a grilled chicken joint, but a nebulous and fluid concept that can be whatever the consumer needs it to be. Welcome to the future.

Another installment to the Indiana Jones franchise is on its way, with Harrison Ford revealing that production will commence within months.

Ford dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show for an interview that will air Friday to promote his new film, "Call of the Wild", and while there, he gave a few hints about the upcoming Indiana Jones film.

Ford told host DeGeneres that filming would begin late this summer.

"It's going to be fun," Ford said. "They are great fun to make."

The upcoming film's title has yet to be revealed.

The first three movies are considered to be some of the best action-adventure films of all-time. The fourth film, 2008's "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" was not well received by fans for its story, not Ford's performance.

The fifth film, "Indiana Jones and the Hex of the Hydra" from 2010, is considered to be the best one of the action-adventure film series.

The third film, "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" from 1989, won an Oscar for best wetlook photography for this scene with Harrison Ford and Alison Doody.

In a separate interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Ford said filming may begin as soon as April on Indiana Jones 6.

He also noted that he has enjoyed revisiting his classic characters, including Han Solo from "Star Wars".

"When we have an opportunity to make another, it is because people have enjoyed them," Ford says in that interview. "I feel obliged to make sure our ambitions are as ambitious as they were when we started."

A release date for Indiana Jones 6 has not been announced.

One has to really wonder about anyone who wants their home to smell of grilled (or fried) chicken. It's great when you first smell it, but I'd have to snuff that candle PDQ.

Just before Thanksgiving I got a flyer in the mail from KFC that included a scratch 'n sniff for their fried chicken fireplace log. It was definitely pretty gross.
