It all depends on several variables that could have occurred, if the coronavirus pandemic even happened at all 'over there'.

They are more advanced in certain medical areas (nanotechnology for one); however, in some medical areas, not so much, for they had not found a vaccine for smallpox as of 2010.

Americans 'over there' may have been more inclined to obey social distancing and mask wearing mandates, because a different president may have stated it was imperative to do so in this health crisis.

With a different White House Coronavirus Task Force leader, researchers could have been given more resources to find a coronavirus vaccine.

Or China could have squashed it before it hit the United States.

Question about crossing universes
 

Please forgive me if this question has already been raised and answered, I’m new to this board and couldn’t find the answer.
In season 1 and most of 2, anyone that came to this universe had to be put in a chamber so their bodies could acclimate, example, Walternet when he came to get Peter. Yet Walter went over at the end of season 2 and adjusted and Faux-livia came to this universe seamlessly (as well as Peter when he was a child). Was there some kind of justification given by the writers as to why they could jump universes with no health issues?

From what I remember, Walter had done it multiple times in the past and they brought up quite a bit that like Olivia, at logos could go to the alt universe because of the cortexiphan trials she was in
