Episode 5.09 Discussion: The Things We Do For Love!
Happy Holidays MUSICAL GUESTS TEGAN & SARA PERFORM AT THE FRIENDS' HOLIDAY PARTY - When Alex (guest-star Trai Byers) approaches Max (Josh Zuckerman) about forming a new company with him, Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) intervenes by attempting to persuade Bryce (guest-star Amber Stevens) to rehire Max at his company. Naomi convinces Navid (Michael Steger) to take Bryce out for drinks, and after a few cocktails Navid uncovers the truth about Max's termination, which leaves Naomi pondering the fate of her marriage. Then, Liam (Matt Lanter) receives a blackmail letter about Vanessa's (guest-star Arielle Kebbel) accident, and Annie (Shenae Grimes) agrees to lend him the money to help trap his blackmailer. But when Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) tells Ashley (guest-star Natalie Morales) that she spotted Vanessa at the beauty salon, Ashley wrongly suspects that Liam was headed for a secret rendezvous with Vanessa. Meanwhile, Silver (Jessica Stroup) is distraught when Teddy (Trevor Donovan) refuses to sign over his parental rights and tries to convince her to let him co-parent the baby. Matthew Diamond directed the episode written by Marjorie David (#509). __________________

im actually offended by silver right now. not in a "omg, im hurt way," but she is being a complete moron.
so its better that she forces her child's father OUT of their life than have him around? is she seriously for real? HOW IS THIS EVEN AN ARGUMENT!!!!!!!!!????? omfg. i cant. i just cant. |

I am annoyed. More because I wish they would abort this whole baby storyline... pun intended. They are 20, can't they drop cancer, babies and finish school first?

Let's see what to tick off on "May enjoys the ep" checklist:
Psycho bodyguard takes down Liam? Check. DixMeg lip action? Check. NAVADE!!!!!! ? Check. Finding out Allergy is responsible for Max's life being horrible? Check. (Undercover enjoyment: Tristan/Shenae....I refuse to believe that was Annie/Dixon getting that cuddly) I blame Dud Hubby for all of Seddy's problems. Silver came off looking selfish and Teddy's partner sucks and should be Ian. Big reveal for Maxomi. I knew it was Alec, but I did expect Naomi to keep his secret after realizing she wasn't much different. Dangit. I wish Naomi and Dixon were actually dirty-dancing to make Max jealous. But it was cool to see them hanging out while the umpteenth musical guest played (they were actually good).DixMeg has wonderful chemistry. The writers better not screw this up. I'm taken aback nobody seems to care that Adrianna cheated. Not even Navid. But it was nice to see Navid not be so judge-y. That Navade accomplished a lot in two minutes. It made Navid likeable again, Ade realized she shouldn't be tortured, and it was one of the cutest scenes in the ep. Adrianna needs to hang out with Navid at the bar all the time, and they can laugh, flirt, and hang lights for New Year's. I'll have more to say but yeah. I thought this was one of the best of the season, and that January ep looks to be carrying on that trend. __________________
