Silver and Dixon meet when his family moves to town, and his sister befriends the school freak.
What starts out as some cute flirtation turns into a real bond when Dixon finds Silver sleeping her car.
She confesses that her mother has a drinking problem, and the two bond over their experiences with
crappy parents. It's not long before their mutual attraction leads to a relationship. The two begin to date,
and manage to handle their differences maturely, willing to compromise and share their interests with
the other. The honeymoon ends when Silver starts showing signs of bi-polar disorder, causing tension and
fights between the two. They make it through, but things just aren't the same. Silver has lost who she is,
and tries desperately to be someone she's not, even bonding with Dixon's friend, Ethan. The tension
comes to a head after Prom, when Silver is faced with Dixon's unhappiness with her recent personality
change, and Ethan's feelings for her. They decide to take a break over the summer so Silver can
figure herself out, but when Ethan tells her that he's not coming back to West Beverly, she realizes
she doesn't care, but couldn't imagine not having Dixon there. She wouldn't be able to breathe.
They reunite on the beach and live happily ever after. Nothing happens after that. No middle aged
dudes or dudettes come into town and ruin everything. They stay together forever. The end.
