I've never seen that before. It's been out since 2012! They all look goofy and David's hair is the worst by a long mile.

I know right! Maybe the fact that it's an unlisted video and you need a link to it to find it has something to do with it, but still.

Thank you for posting that Billie Jean article. His performance was a standout, it is memorable. I'll have to check out those other covers.

You're welcome. Totally agree with you, his performance was definitely iconic in the Idol history.

Those other performances are good but they don't even come near to David's.

And to think he's finally performing that song again after 7 years!

Me too! Before this he only did a snippet of it a couple of times although I'm sure people have requested it countless of times, over and over again.

But now he finally felt like performing it again and a regular basis too.

I bet they did. I wouldn't be surprised if every song he performed on AI was requested at least once.

Speaking of Idol performances, I re-watched 'Always Be My Baby', 'Billie Jean', 'All Right Now', 'I'm Alive', and 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' today.

I loved David's reaction to Simon's comments after 'Always Be My Baby', you know... when he thought it was negative because of his karaoke comment.

I made a gif of it and I'll post it asap once we figure out a title for the next thread.

And I know! I just rewatched ABMB myself, SO EPIC!

I just wanted to share this, a couple of weeks ago on our version of The Voice a guy performed I Don't Want To Miss A Thing and I was so amused because he had most definitely been studying David's version of the song because it was so similar, even down to the arrangment and the high note in the end. xD He even did the hand raising thing David did in the end of several of his AI performances (although now that I've rewatched this one, he didn't do it here).

It was so funny.

But let's enjoy the best version of this song on any singing show anywhere ever (they should just completely retire it, David already killed it
