I have watched and rewatched this movie over 500 times. I can't help it, to me, it is one of Chace's best roles. It is way different from the other roles that he plays mostly the rich pretty boy. Here he was gritty and take charge. He didn't take anyone's crap and he fought for his life. I wanted to comfort him after his mom died and that is why he turned to becoming a drug dealer. He was trying to be there for his cousin Charlie, but Charlie was majorly into the drugs especially Twelve. My heart broke when he learned that his cousin had been killed and the one person, Molly, he thought he could count on, she left him after a murderous shooting at a party she was attending and she almost got shot. He protected her from getting hit by any bullets. He did lie to her and that is why she couldn't forgive him. I hated the bitch Sarah, she thought only of herself and her popularity, I cringed every time that she was on screen. I also felt sorry for Chris because he was the golden child in his parents' eyes and his brother Claude saw how he was being treated and become a major bad ass and problem child.

I have watched the movie over and over again not anywhere near 500 times, but quite a lot. I think that my favorite scene was when he was in the park and remembering when him, his cousin, and friend where there and then his conversation with his nanny. I am with you, I didn't like Sarah much, she was a stuck up snob and I wanted to slap her hard. Her other friends especially Jessica were different from her and I kind of liked Jessica the best. I felt sorry for her in the end. I wish that Molly and White Mike were a couple throughout the whole movie, I understand her frustration and anger towards White Mike for not thinking she was strong enough to understand what he really did for a living. She was deeply in love with him she might have been upset at first and then been there for him, she just wanted to be with him and support him.
